I have been a silent reader of the forum posts for a while now, and until now, I have never really been motivated to post here.

Last week (I hope I remember right), in the scene where Prerna goes to meet Anu and they remain locked (voluntarily, whistles😆) in the bathroom, that ONE moment (right before the precap for the next episode) when he looks deep into her eyes and says, "Main tumhari shaadi Naveen babu se hone nai dunga, toh dunga". DANG. I was in heaven. I mean, asar itna tez hua ki I felt like he'd said the words to me😆😆 even when there's no possibility I'll ever get to even stand beside him.

That was the moment I realized, this guy is gifted. He is a natural charmer, and can woo you without even saying a word.

Honestly, when there were talks going on and on about who would play Anurag's role, and I read some udti udti khabar of Parth playing the role, I was not happy about it. In fact, I was kinda derisive and thought he would look such a misfit with Erica.

But now I know Ekta can never go wrong with the casting, she just knows this game too well!

Innocence, simplicity, forthrightness, honesty, passion, care, loyalty, and the potential to madly love someone - Anurag of 2018 is all of this, a shade or more each. Parth as Anu has been, and I believe will in future be, effective when he stands in these shoes, depending on what circumstances are thrown at him.

Parth has grown on me...insidiously..and it makes me happy because he's just so perfect at how he's portraying Anurag. And also, because it makes a 30+ married woman like me feel things (😆), the same way Madhavan had me melting back in the 90s.

I'd never even watched Parth's earlier hit show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, but was compelled to watch a couple episodes to see if he was really as good as fans made him out to be.

And oh my my! What a terrific scene it was...and so hot 😉😉I happened to watch the one where he and his girlfriend (I guess its Niti Taylor?) are out somewhere camping, and its raining and they're both drenched in love (and paani😆😆)..and then Parth moves towards her, says "I love you" and that was when I just died. I couldn't believe my eyes..this guy who's playing all seedha-saada, simple and sober in KZK looked like a walking ball of fire in that scene from KYY..am sure that's what he has portrayed for most of his time in the show. Hence, the crazy fan following.

How?

How does he manage being so sexy, and then portray this level of innocence and naivete? Just like a light bulb's been switched on. It's incredible.

I'm officially hooked❤️ and now, I cannot imagine anybody else playing this role. No one could have essayed it better than Parth has, and continues to...each episode!

P.S. I loved KZK1 but let me tell you, Parth's Anu makes me feel for their (his and Prerna's) love (or their impending love story, shall I say?) so deeply...it feels so so raw...not like I never felt for Anu and Prerna of KZK 1, but this time, it's an Anu I did not get to see before in KZK 1.

Standing up for the truth, being so dogged about protecting someone he cares about (and loves, but he hasn't come to that point yet), feeling the jitters in his heart when she walks by, feeling disturbed that he even FEELS these things...

I daresay not even Anurag of KZK 1 was so expressive.

This Anu is his real soul unleashed, and I love, love, love it!

I know Anurag is the type to never go against his mother, but now, given how passionate and determined Anu is about keeping Prerna in a safe space (in his heart, eh?), I'd actually like him to go against Mohini.

There'll be plenty of heartbreaks. This time, at least for some time, let hearts on the boy's side break. In fact, I think, this time, Prerna has, and will take Anu's place and do all she can to minimize damage and Anu will do all he can to ensure they take care of their hearts first, and family status and prestige later.

Damn. Parth, I love you!

(sheeh, so mushy, but cant help it yaar🥱🥱🥱)

he is a really good actor...though i can't stand the nonsense that this show is but i do sometimes catch some episode to see Parth in action..and he is very impressive:)

the cast is good but the problem is the weak writing..the characters or the scenes are not well written..esp Prerna's..i can never understand why Anurag is falling for Prerna now when he has known her since before...there is nothing special she is doing to capture his attention all of a sudden ..there is no depth or consistency to Prerna's character..and for me if i cannot connect to a Female lead i can't connect to the love story no matter how good the male lead is..there should be a balance between both:)

in comparison in his last show KYY the writing was the king inspite of the entire cast being fresh faces...every character was well written esp manik and nandini and the scene you mentioned comes much later..i will recommend you to watch it from the beginning..parth is brilliant as the guy who bullies niti's character and eventually falls for her the growth shown in manik and nandini's relationship is one of the best i have ever seen:)

Same Pinch on drooling over Parth at 30+ 😆
Manik's character had many shades and Parth portrayed it to perfection. He excelled as Monster Manik, a loyal friend and leader and was a dreamy/ caring lover. I just finished rewatching it 😆
I didn't like season2 as much and season 3 was hurried.

When this show started, I thought of watching a couple of episodes for Parth. I never imagined I would like Anuraag so much. Since it is Ekta's show and the shadow of the original Anurag's fall casting shadows, I am apprehensive. Yet until the fall actually happens I am with Parth's Anurag

Thanks for this post , I so wnated to write a lot about Parth's Anurag ... and your post has worded everything.

Honestly for me Anurag was one Looser character ... and since I dint had much good views about Parth , I felt he will not have to do much as Anurag and only cry cry cry ...😆

But Bouyyy... He proved me Wrong ... and so wrong that he is the one for whom I am following (ofcourse I do Love Parica chemistry too) but admyst the abysmal writing of the show , He is one constant for whom I feel like rooting .
And this is all because of Parth .

He has made Anurag's simplicity soo attractive. parth's Anurag is like a breath of fresh air . In middle of all Macho heroes on ITV , Anurag's simplicity and Parth's chocolate boy looks seems so Unique and so Fresh .

And Parth is precisely a reason why I want story to be entirety concentrated on Anurag- Prerna and their Love Story.

Season 1 tried to show it as Epic Love Story ... but they had Anurag character written so badly and then ofcourse Ronit's Powerfully Bajaj ... that people ended up rooting for Bajaj and Prerna . That was just writers failure in writing the Wpic Lovestory .

I so don't want Parth's Anurag to be overshadowed or turned into mere puppet and Rotlu guy .
This is one reason that keep holding me back from following KZK2 religiously.

I had never watched season one of the show, I had watched Erica in Kuch rang pyaar ke and parth I have watched him in season three of kaise yeh yaariyan( never watched season one and two of the show, got to catch up). One episode of the season three, I was in love with his acting. I had watched parth in best friends forever in v channel and honestly did not like him here , the way he had grown as a actor from then is commendable, kyy has been one of the best works over the years. I literally tried not to watch this show because I know ekta and her show then parth is someone I could not resist myself from watching on TV. I don't even know what much time I have watched the scene you have mentioned both of kzk and kyy. Parth's intensity is something else.

I feel for Anurag only because of parth's acting . I have watched season one clips of kzk, I could not bring myself to like the first Anurag. Parth is slaying as Anurag and yeah good to see people who did not know him before are becoming his fans.

the cast is good but the problem is the weak writing..the characters or the scenes are not well written..esp Prerna's..i can never understand why Anurag is falling for Prerna now when he has known her since before...there is nothing special she is doing to capture his attention all of a sudden ..there is no depth or consistency to Prerna's character..and for me if i cannot connect to a Female lead i can't connect to the love story no matter how good the male lead is..there should be a balance between both:) ...Actually, I can relate to the part about them falling for each other despite knowing each other for years..I've had a similar experience in the past, where an acquaintance and I went from a random "Hi" to good friends in less than a week, then best friends ..and then fell right into dating. I think for love to happen, all it takes is a moment, when a collection of all past memories/experiences starts taking shape. On this account, I disagree. But yes, I agree that the writing is really weak. For starters, Ii do not understand how ANY woman in this day and age can fall in this trap...Papa ka 15 lakh ka loan and all. Don't want to sound skeptical, but come on, Prerna's family lives in a huge, big-ass bungalow (they're clearly not middle-class, atleast they're safely upper middle class), they're all decently dressed all the time...I'm not sure what about them makes them classic ineligibles for a bank loan! This reason for marrying that cheap buddha is so not worth it, or logical or believable by any stretch. This is where the pathetic writing pinches me real hard. About Anurag falling for Prerna, I think it's the usual Hindi TV serial trope. The female leads hardly ever do anything spectacular (barring some serials) and yet, they have the male leads eating outta their hands. It's just the way these shows are written. But yes, if I were Anurag, I'd have gotten a reason to get TURNED OFF by Prerna than fall for her, given her abla naari behaviour and her cryptic behaviour around Naveen, despite being fully determined to marry him. Of course, its apparent she doesn't want to, and had I been the guy, I'd have said, "F*&% it, tum ko kuey mein koodne ka shauk hai toh kood jao".😆😆😆 I think poor Anu here has been taken in by Prerna's extreme fondness for romance and Thorn Birds on one hand, and her distaste for, yet apparent determination to marry Naveen. The poor guy has been seedha, disciplined and reserved all this life. Finally, he has a mystery to solve.

in comparison in his last show KYY the writing was the king inspite of the entire cast being fresh faces...every character was well written esp manik and nandini and the scene you mentioned comes much later..i will recommend you to watch it from the beginning..parth is brilliant as the guy who bullies niti's character and eventually falls for her the growth shown in manik and nandini's relationship is one of the best i have ever seen:).. I'm totally tempted to😉😉😉 and I know it already I'm gonna fall even harder for Parth :)
