My answer is NO as well.
First I will try contacting Moloy Basu n inform all this to Anurag .
And I m sure itne se hi sab manage ho jayega . He will extend the date for loan repayment . I don't need to do anything else further .

I can't even think of getting married to a creep only for the sake of loan. Marriage is not a joke, It's about my entire life damn it !
Aise bade bade decision sirf serial wale ek zatka me le sakte hai , humare bas ki baat nahi !

Worst was how rushed it was. She didn't even do it as a last resort. But this first option. And because its so early in the series ot makes no emptional impact. I will be very happy instead of thanking her for being so mahaan her family stays angry and gives her the silent treatment after finding out. I hope even anurag scolds her for trying to be a martyr.

I truly cannot even begin to answer this question because this situation is so beyond the sort of things that happen in my life and that I have been exposed to. However I was thinking about your question and my own cousins who have arranged marriage in India. I feel an important factor that needs to be taken into account is that the proposal has NOT come from a money lender. It has come (in Prerna view) from the family of Kaka Babu. She may be scared of and not particularly like his snobby wife but it is a proposal from a family that her dad as worked for for more than a decade. And wouldn't that make the girls in question view the proposal slightly differently?

To me, Prerna should have discussed this issue with her family especially her male relatives, who are responsible for up keeping the house and let them all deal with the loan including her.
She so fast wanted to give her body to that lustful creep for a house😕.
Her family could move out of the house and live in one they could afford, work hard and smart and buy back the house if they are so attached to it.

... and she called herself strong and educated, she certainly fooled me.
Where is self respect in all this.

I know this drama is to serve a purpose for the story to move forward but this is a foolish move by Prerna ... allowing the creep on the bridge to handle her in that way was disgusting for me to look at.

Nevertheless, I do like Erica and Parth.😊

If it was me, me as 19/20 years of age (that would be Prerna's age?)

I would have loved myself, much more than the emphasis on what others' might think, or the house slipping away. Might be looked down upon, but yeah, thats me.

I would have known that my parents' can become happy when they adjust in a smaller house/apartment; or earn more to regain the house. But my parents can never be happy looking at their daughter's life.

I might be the point of discussion, but I will keep me away from the centre of it all and decide together rather than decide for everyone.

So, yes, i would carry a lot of flaws reaching the decision; and will defend my stand of not getting married. And, yes, I would have started packing to move out of the house. Its no joke, just 19hrs left.

Right.. I would never know the guy's shades unless I marry him.. 😆 Even if I had fallen in love and eloped with him as a love sick puppy.. 😆

Thanks a lot for this week DOTW.

Marrying someone shouldn't be taking any hasty decision such as under the pressure or to please someone. I am a guy, but the question applies to every gender. Neither I would nor I don't any girls in today's world would take a decision like what Prerna has taken..
There is a fine line between a reality and a fiction. As a fictional character, we often see larger than life, or making great sacrifices for the family and the loved ones when we see them we get goosebumps..
But, the question here is in our real life how far we cam go or do in order to save our family, would we be selfish or selfless..
Prerna definitely has taken the decision without consulting the family, but she did for her family, but that wasn't a soley options, I am sure her family would have considered and looked at other options as well..

@MsChandlerBong and @Basilisk said it all, even if middle class how could one agree to get married to a lusty person i wouldnt agree at all.. thats other thing blackmailing and emotional blackmailing where one doesnt think and understand at all, just flows into emotion and make decisions

I don't think I would take such a dire step before looking at other available options. Like if I found such a document I would consult my family first. And since the loan was granted by Moloy so why not call him. Even though I realize the drama would lose its masala if the lead wasn't all sacrificing.
