| | | | Shweta Tiwari with Ronit Roy in Kasautii Zindagi Kay | At loggerheads with Cezzane Khan (Anurag), Urvashi Dholakia (Komolika) and Gitanjali Tikekar (Apo*na), Shweta Tiwari, aka Prerna of Kasautii Zindagi Kay (Star Plus), has a new person on her problem list — Ronit Roy (Bajaj).
On September 27, Tiwari stormed off the Film City set after a major panga with Roy, and went straight to Ekta Kapoor to complain. Ego hassles common
Confirming the incident, a source says, "Yes, Shweta did leave the sets in a huff; she was angry over something to do with Ronit. I don't know what her complaint was, but this is not the first time it has happened on the Kasautii sets."
Adds the source, "Shweta has a tendency to storm off quite often. Sometimes, she is upset that the shooting has not been completed as per the schedule given to her.
But then, that is not possible every day. Frankly, ego hassles on the Kasautii sets are common. At times, Cezzane and Ronit have also walked out. And Shweta and Ronit do not see eye to eye. They have had problems since nearly a year."
Doesn't that cause problems while shooting? "Not really. They are not on talking terms, but they do their scenes with conviction." Ronit's 'problem'
When contacted, Shweta did not deny the incident, but tried to pass it off as a minor tiff.
"Big deal! These things happen," she said. "Ronit has a problem. He tends to discuss every scene a bit too much with the director. This wastes too much time. Other artistes get delayed because of this," she added later.
The actress says she did not complain directly to Ekta. I simply talked to the production-in-charge, Makrand, that these things are happening repeatedly. I told him to tell Ekta. I am here to work, not to mix with people and hang out with them."
Ronit feigned ignorance, "I don't want to get involved in this. I come here to work. Shweta and I don't have problems between us… at least not from my side. It would be better if you talk to her. As for talking to Shweta is concerned, what's there to talk with her about?" Kasautii serial ki
When we contacted Ekta Kapoor, she said, "Yeh Kasautii ek off-screen drama ban gaya hai."
Did Shweta talk to her about Ronit? "Shweta tried to get in touch with me; she wanted to talk to me — but I don't know about what. Maybe I'll meet her soon, but I don't think it could be Ronit that she wants to meet me about — they shot for Kasautii together the next day." |
