Nicely written Manasi.
Like Amay I have watched the soap unfold from the beginning , so can vouch for that the misunderstanding between Anurag and Prerna was needless because Anurag ever had a reason to doubt Prerna. Bajaj and Komo played a role in seperating them. Here Prerna should have trusted Anurag when she was being blackmailed, in one stroke she made him a stranger, she out because Bajaj said he will doubt her. It was wrong on her part to bring a third person in her marriage.
Her trust in Bajaj was sudden because a few episodes ago Prerna had clung to Anurag saying he is going to
seperate us.
She did the same thing under amnesia then why did she trust Bajaj? Prerna has several shortcomings but you cannot call her a vamp, because she does not fit into that category.
Secondly with Bajaj she became friends but her love for Anurag is greater than her own self, in him she can see what she could not be, her little doubts, her fears and in a way it is difficult for her to imagine that Anurag could misunderstand her so badly. She punished him in her own way, Anurag was unsparing, after all he reserved greatest punishment for himself, tearing himself away from Prerna and Sneha.
Anurag for that matter is self-effacing to the point of being harsh on himself, he is on the verge of becoming a self-auctualized man, his sense of personal responsibiltiy and his own higher calling ensures that he deems justice to others. A person can lead an honourable life and become self-actualized only if the circumstances and environment he lives in is favourable, with Anurag this is has not been the case,he has to wage several wars at home and outside.
We should not forget a story like KZK if allowed to run in a span of 3 hrs would have shown Anurag and Prerna getting back, they would have wrapped all the loose ends. But since it was a soap and doing reasonable buisness, it was allowed to run so the undue twists and turns.
Coming to Bajaj, With Anurag he has always been insecure, when he sent Prerna to Panchmeshwar, his resolve shook after Gupta said Prerna and Anurag can come together , he rushses to get her back, but the deed has already been done, here too anurag and prerna did it for Sneha. Later Bajaj gets upset with the preg report.
Bajaj, I thought would understand how much Anurag misses Sneha, he could have tried to get their relationship on even track, especially after he got a second lease of life. Sneha is the great wall of China, that appeared impregnable but now ready to break.
He is yet to think of Tanisha, the very thought of her makes him anxious.
For Anurag nothing can be achieved through coercion or deceit, Prerna had to go through an accident to rediscover him and his love for both of them( Sneha and Prerna) that allows people to make their own choices. When you love someone you set them free is the guiding thought for Anurag.
About Prerna she is a lady like rest of the cast, she is not a vamp, strictly speaking, but for sure she has never found a reason to do so, her tears do the magic and her flawed self rightous thinking is her undoing.
Her relationship with Bajaj's first family is on and off,it takes a little extra to raise children and she has nothing to speak of. Why do grown up children( Ruby's) have frequent spats with her, when ever they feel their father is hurt?
People find several faults with Madhvi, she never trapped Bajaj, both crossed their limits, I think her character should have been developed, she had the guts to approach Bajaj about her love and later give in to Anurag, she said to him both of us sacrificed our love. But did she find fault with Bajaj no, in her mind it was clear Bajaj should never know about Tanisha but when he went on his revenge mission, she was forced to tell him.
Another scene comes to mind when Tanisha scoffed at BAjaj's name during his false death ceremony, it was a mother telling her daughter to respect elders.
Madhavi too could have been filled with hatred for Bajaj but as they say love does not allow you to hate.
Atleast Tanisha can safely draw her own conclusions about Bajaj her father, she will not bank upon her mother's prejudices as in Prerna and Sneha's case. But she will also come to know that BAjaj rejected her mother, this part is difficult.
REST PART AMAY HAS STATED very well.
