Anurag Basu's marriages-Analysis

Though I am not a fan of Anurag, I feel sorry for him. He was married thrice, but he is one of the most unfortunate husbands in the world.

Firstly, he married Komolika. She took all of his money, helped Bajaj to take over Basu Publications, and then married his brother!!! 😉

Then he married Prerna, hoping that this marriage would be successful as Prerna was supposed to be in love with him 😃
Everything was fine till Bajaj resurfaced. After Bajaj's comeback, Prerna could not control her feelings for Bajaj. 😉 She started behaving more like Mrs. Bajaj than Mrs. Basu. Prerna was always spending more time at Bajaj's house and always running to Bajaj to give and receive help,completely ignoring Anurag. In fact, whenever Anurag took Bajaj to court, Mrs. Prerna Basu always took Bajaj's side in court, opposing her own husband ! Finally she left Anurag for good, and for the last 15 years, she is staying with Bajaj, and poor Anurag had to be content watching Prerna-Bajaj reaffirming their relationship in a lavish wedding creremony.

After Prerna went to Bajaj, Anurag married Aparna. She tried to kill him!!!

Now the question is- Why were all three marriages such big disasters? Is something wrong with Anurag? His first wife robbed him financially, his second wife could not stop singing "jaan tere naam" for Bajaj, his third wife tried to kill him !!! Are these women all bad, or is Anurag such a pathetic husband that his wives tend to get repelled 😃

To top it all, not even one out of his three marriages was real and legal !!!
Remember when Prerna married him, her first, original and only husband Rishabh Bajaj was alive. When a woman marries another man while her first husband is alive, the second marriage isn't valid from a legal point of view. That makes Anurag-Prerna marriage illegal 😃
Similarly Komolika was married to a guy called Akash, and Aparna was married to Debu 😕
Poor Anurag, he could not say about any of his wives-"Meri patni sirf meri hain !!!!!"

What a sad state of affairs- three marriages- not a single 'happy' one. Not a single 'legal' one. 😭 😭 😭
Bajaj fans, please stop being so harsh about anurag, don't you feel sorry for him...... 😉

I think you are absolutely right.
There is something wrong with him.
Ekta' has tried him to show as the saint or some kind of always sacrfising guy but, he has always ben bad.
When, he was with Prerana, he never trusted her now when she with Mr. Bajaj, he is showing that he cares for the Prerana more than the Mr. Bajajl.
Anuraag sometimes behaves okay but, most of the time annoying.

When he married Komolika he still loved Prerna so y should Komolika love him neway??? I agree she robbed him but its his own fault if someone can be as naive as him to give the power of attorney to a person like her he cant be helped!!

His second marriage to Prerna i agree was quite a bit of Prerna's fault. But i will never forgive him...coz he was indirectly responsible for Prem's death. Is it more imp to catch the kidnappers or save ur own son??!!!(esp since the money being used is not ur own!!! bajaj gave the money reqd!!!)

And his third marriage!! Well he treated Aparna really badly!! He used to dream of Prerna alll the time then no wonder she felt bad!And if u ask me living with such a character for 8yrs is enough to drive anyone bonkers!!

So i think he's sooo pathetic that everyone ditches him or he ditches them!!!

I agree with u completely galactic. Anuraag doesn't deserve anybody, he never gave the woman in his life the respect & trust needed to keep a relationship going. He only knows how to wallow in self - pity😡

it was neother Komolika's fault nor Aporna's that Anu couldn't stay happily with Prerna🤢 He shud have told his dear mum to shut up

well, all i can add to this is....after all what has happenend to him, his character in the show stands out the most, and in life that's what too matters a lot...

so i feel he's a hero in the show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Prenra and Bajaj's first marriage was iilegal because he did not divorce Menka outside of Australia.

Ha ha ha ! Do you think Menka would have allowed Prerna to remain Mrs Bajaj if Prerna's marriage were illegal???
In fact, after Bajaj was presumed dead, Prerna got all the property. Menka would have challenged this legally, but she did not because the marriage was absolutely legal. Bajaj had divorced Menka. Menka herself had married somebody else after that. Bajaj also got custody of all 3 kids and Menka could not do anything about it. Besides, Bajaj is a qualified lawyer (with a license to practice) and he knows very well how to twist loopholes in law. So, please get your facts right. Had Bajaj-Prerna marriage been illegal, Menka would have proved it in court and taken over Bajaj's property. Did that happen? No ! 😛
