Tina on the red carpet

Tina Parekh aka Shruti along with Chetan Hanraj aka Sasha from Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii will be on the Red Carpet at the Star Parivaar Awards nite.

The game special involved two teams - one team had members of the older generation which had Tina Parekh (Shruti), Rakshanda Khan (Tanya), Salil Ankola (Mahesh), Deepak Qazi (Babuji) and Tushar Kumar (Baa Bahu aur Baby) whereas the other team has members of the new generation Additi Gupta (Heer), Mouni Roy (K.T), Guddi Maruti, Kinkshuk (acting in Bidaai), Mitali. The hosting responsibility was shared by Ketki Dave (Daksha chachi) and Naman Shaw (Nakul).

The two teams had 6 rounds of games to compete with each other in order to decide the winner. Starting with the game 'Chatur Chitrakar' in which one member of each team had to draw the picture of the object which his team would describe within a time period of 2 minutes but the twist in the tale was that the team members' eyes were tied with a black band and the only way was to describe it and the person drawing it had to identify it.

The next game followed in which both teams had to form a chain and pass on a ring from one end to the other end without leaving the hand in between within 2 minutes. With the ladies having worn sari, it was a sight to watch and somewhat a challenge for them in a way. But at the end the women against all the odds played the game and did pretty well for their team.

The third game was an interesting one called 'Dilwale Dulhania Sajaa Lenge' in which one male from each team had to dress himself like a dulhan with his eyes tied up with a black band and this time the person had a time period of two and a half minutes. Really the men who competed with each other had a blast participating in the game and also was a sight to see.

The fourth game was called 'Challe par balle-balle' in which again both the teams had 2 minutes to complete and in which both the teams were given one bamboo kind of prop and from end a person had to put a ball in the bamboo which would pass from it and get collected in the other basket which was kept at the other end.

The fifth game was the traditional antakshari in which the host showed different props to the teams one-by-one and the teams had to sing according to it.
