KZK Utsav update for 23 March-
Everyone at the Bajaj farmhouse is geared up for the big wedding and the sangeet is going on, just before the wedding function. Rishabh is joined by some of his distant relatives and his best friend- Gupta.

Prerna is getting ready for the marriage and she recalls the saree given by Rishabh as the part of the Rajasthani tradition but she takes out the saree given to her by Mohini and wears it. The women at Rishabh's house help Prerna dress up for the wedding.

Downstairs, in the mandap, Rishabh is sitting in his regal dark blue sherwani with the white odhni and the pandit is tying the sacred thread on his wrist and chanting verses for the wedding. The pandit calls for the bride. Rishabh's secretary Reena goes up to Prerna's room.

Meanwhile, Anurag comes to know of Rishabh and Prerna's wedding card and he rushes to the venue to check if the news is true or just a farce by Rishabh and Komolika.

As Prerna is coming down the stairs, Rishabh looks at her and is awestruck by her beauty. Gupta comes to Rishabh and asks him-"Dulhan ko pata hain kya Rishabh?"..Rishabh tells him that she does not know anything..(Obviously this refers to his three kids from Menka)

Prerna comes to the mandap. Rishabh and Prerna are asked to exchange garlands and then they both sit down. The pandit starts the verses for the wedding. Then there's a custom where the bride and the groom have to hold hands. Prerna reluctantly puts her hand forward..Rishabh glares angrily at the tatoo saying A on her hand and then takes her hand in his and holds it firmly.There's a slight smile on his face as he takes her hand in his and Prerna just keeps on looking at him.

The pandit continues his recitation of verses when Prerna's mobile rings. Rishabh picks it up and tells Anurag that Prerna's busy but Prerna asks for the phone from him.

Prerna talks for a while to Anurag and then puts the phone down. The marriage ceremony goes on. Rishabh asks the pandit how much time it will take for the wedding to get solemnized and the pandit tells him-
"Sabr kijiye Bajaj saab, yeh poori zindagi ka sawaal hain";)) (and I was like-"Ooooh") Suddenly the lights go off.

The pandit tells Rishabh that these are bad times for the marriage to happen and they should wait for another half an hour before the marriage continues. Rishabh gives him a scorn. As soon as the half hour is over, Rishabh ushers the pandit to complete the marriage soon. The pandit recites some more verses and then tells them to stand up for the pherre.

In the beginning, Prerna leads Rishabh as they take the rounds around the holy fire and then Rishabh leads Prerna. Finally, the pandit tells Rishabh that only when he applies sindoor on Prerna's forehead will the wedding be over...Rishabh takes a pinch of sindoor and moves his hand to Prerna's forehead.Just then,Anurag comes and yells- "Nooo".

That's what happened on Thursday- the real fun begins on Monday so stay tuned! Woohoo!

This is the beauty of watching a rerun. You already know what happens. There are no surprizes.

You bet Tulip. But for me it was a double treat because I had not watched these scenes and still I knew what was going to happen next. Such great scenes these were.

Also while watching the re-runs, I came to know that how much Ronit has improved in the histrionics deptt in these 4-5 years- he's really done a great job of himself!

When the pandit said-"Poori Zindagi ka sawaal hain"- I was wishing if Prerna had known that earlier;))) Hehehe...

Best Performance by Ronit in kzk- A series of scenes- My choice-

I think the high point of Bajaj was when he finds out that Prerna lies to him about Anurag being alive. When Prerna came to apologise, he told her that it wasn't really a big deal. "Maaf kar du? Theek hai, maaf kiya."
That was the best part. He was so cool. He didn't cry, he didn't get angry, he just removed prerna's name from his dictionary. That's his power- he can confess love and support for prerna, but if he gets upset with her for some reason, he can say 'prerna who?' the next day . That scene, and all the bajaj-prerna scenes after that (prerna pleading and bajaj ignoring/cold shoulder treatment) were a treat to watch. Best performance not just by Ronit but by anybody I have ever seen.

Really could not agree with you more. It was such a stupendous experience- it just uncovered a totally new dimension of Rishabh Bajaj-I dont recall any earlier incident/occasion where he had treated Prerna as if she simply did not exist.

The 'berukhi' that he portrayed was just so natural and real. His performances had reached such a point where Rishabh Bajaj really did not cease to be just a fictional character..he was so humane...Ronit is just a master at such scenes and he just proves his forte again and again!

Three cheers to him! I am trying to dig up some old gems..so all you Ronitians- stay tuned to the HUB!
