Prerna to do a cameo in Nagiin
Shweta Tiwari, popular as Prerna of Kasauti Zindagi Kay, is entering Nagiin. She is going to play the role of Maharani Surmayi. We spoke to the executive producer of the show Ankur to find out more.
Shweta Tiwari, popular as Prerna of Kasauti Zindagi Kay, is entering Nagiin. She is going to play the role of Maharani Surmayi. We spoke to the executive producer of the show Ankur to find out more.
About her character in the show, Ankur says, "She is a playing a cameo and has her own empire. She is a very good dancer and thinks nobody can dance better than her. If somebody does she turns them into stone statues."
On the track, he explains, "Amrita enters her empire to get Maniganga fruit which helps snakes enhance their powers. The fruit is in Surmayi's palace called Trikund so when Surmayi sees Amrita she has a conflict with her and challenges her that if she defeats her in a dance competition she will give her the entire empire. Amrita manages to defeat her and then Surmayi offers her the empire but Amrita refuses to take it and tells her that she only wants the fruit."
Apparently, Shweta was scared of shooting with snakes during the shoot." It was the first time that she was shooting with real snakes. It took a long time to convince her. I personally went and told her that Shadab, who plays tantrik in show, always carries it and that it is non-poisonous. So finally she agreed."
Shweta's character will be there in the show for three episodes which will be telecast this weekend.
Before this all female protagonists of Zee's shows appeared in a special episode of Nagiin.
