Ekta considers Wasna Ahmed lucky for Kasautii… Hence, the actress is never reprimanded for performing poorly

If sources are to be believed, Wasna Ahmed, who plays Dhara in Kasautii Zindagi Kay, is the latest blue-eyed girl of Ekta Kapoor. So much so that she doesn't get admonished for her not-so-satisfactory histrionic skills.

The story goes that an aura cleaner on the set of Kasautii Zindagi Kay once referred to her as 'lucky', and ever since Ekta has shifted the focus of the track on Wasna. A leading actor from the show, on condition of anonymity informs, "Wasna is not really up to the mark when it comes to her acting skills. But Ekta has been promoting her track as she considers her lucky for the show."

The Kolkata-based Wasna moved to Mumbai after cracking the auditions for Kasautii… held earlier this year. She has just cleared her XII standard board exams from Rizvi College in Bandra. Presently, she is doing a correspondence course from Pune University. When quizzed about her being the 'lucky charm', Wasna reluctantly says, "I have been told that I'm lucky for the show. But that doesn't bother me, I'm her to do my work and improve my acting with every passing day."

A member of the creative team from Balaji Telefilms says, "Wasna surely has something in her. Whenever her track comes in the forefront we have rising TRPs. Ekta feels that her innocent face works. She is doing a much better job than Krittika Senghal, who plays the younger Prerna on the show."

Ask Ekta about her new lucky discovery Wasna and she says, "Unfortunately, I don't look at their kundlis when I take them on board. Otherwise, I would have turned an astrologer by now. But yes we have decided to promote Wasna's track on the show."

Hmmm...
well i thnk its just pure LUCK that when Ekta shows the Dhara track she gets lucky. I personally think that The whole DHara track is VERY boring - thats just my opinion.

I don't understand yeh kaise ho sakta hain?She isn't a good actress.But kzk creative team compare her acting ability with Kritika.Kritika is much much better then her.I think Ekta is a superstitious person.😡
