Mahesh Manjrekar has been giving Shweta Tiwari some much-needed emotional support. Shweta, who disappeared from the spotlight after her split from husband Raja, cut herself off from close friends by changing her mobile number and stopped mingling with the show's cast and crew too. Sources on the Kasautii sets reveal that Shweta and Mahesh have developed a very special friendship.
They may also be working on a film project soon. "Shweta doesn't have too many friends and has always been on her own. Now, she has found a friend in Mahesh and they meet for coffee often," says our source. After having dabbled in Bhojpuri films, Shweta now wants to give Bollywood and theatre a try.
