Ravi, Shweta get jiggy with it
Ekta Kapoor's creative team has come up with a novel idea to help flood victims in UP and Bihar. They've roped in Ravi Kissen to get jiggy with Shweta Tiwari on the Star show, Karam Apna Apna!
This special episode will be telecast on August 16, with an appeal to send contributions to Balaji Telefilms for the victims.
Says Ipsita, the show's creative head, "Ravi is working in writer Mahesh Pandey's Bhojpuri film and they have a good rapport, so Mahesh approached him on our behalf. Then we told Shobhaji and Ekta about it. They were thrilled."
Gautami Gadgil, Ram Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Vikaas Sethi, Nikhil Arya, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Shubhangi also feature in the episode and they haven't charged a single penny.
