The Story so far!!!! PLZ READ

i am new to this....i started watching it after the leap....and saw the last epi before the leap. i really wanted to know what is going on...WHO IS MUKTI!!!i am sooo confused...Can someone pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee provide a brief summary of the story so far...it doesn't have to be detailed just something brief....PLEASEEEEEEEEE I BEG OF U!!!!

To answer your question, Prem is Anurag and Prerna's son. Mukti was Prerna's driver's daughter but raised by Prerna like her own daughter. Mukti and Prem fall in love after lots of problems...but the day they confess their love for each other Mukti dies in an accident. After that, Prem goes into a vegetative state until Prerna finds a look alike of Mukti, Devki who brings Prem back into life and then Prem falls in love with Devki and their story continues for a while. Then for some reason, Devki leaves Prem after having a one night of romance :)

Brief story?

Anurag and Prerna love each other. But Anu gets married to someone else while Prerna is pregnant with Prem1. Then after Anu's divorce, when AP were about to get married, Prerna gets married to Bajaj (who was 20 yrs older than her with 3 kids Tushar, Kuki and Vishakha from a previous marriage) to save Anu's business. Then Bajaj dies and AP get married and live happily with Prem1.

Then Bajaj comes back. Problems between AP regarding Bajaj. Then Prem1 dies. They get divorced. Prerna is then pregnant with Sneha but Anurag thinks it is Bajaj's child. So Prerna goes and lives with Bajaj. And Anurag gets married to Apo*na. 8 year leap.

In this leap, Apo*na becomes evil and tries to kill Anurag for his money but he is saved. AP reunites to have Prem2 (current Prem) to save Sneha which is when Anu finds out about Sneha...Prerna is engaged to Bajaj and with Anurag's blessings, she marries Bajaj. Bajaj adopts both Sneha and Prem. But before the 20 yr leap, Prem gets kidnapped. Prerna blames Anurag for this and so Anurag goes to London away from Prerna and Sneha with his adopted son, Shravan.

Then the major story in the 20 yr leap according to me is the finding of Prem. AP finally find their Prem who was kidnapped by Apo*na and raised as a spoilt brat. Prerna fixes him. Then the whole Prem Mukti love story happens.
Somewhere here Tushar married Doris. And after a lot of coaxing by Prerna, Anurag finally decides to let go of Prerna and her memories and decides to marry Sampada who has been with him for 20 years in London. After this there is a 5 yr leap and you don't really ahve to know much here except that Bajaj and Sampada both think that Anurag and Prerna are a pair and they still love each other and they both have major insecurities about AP's relationship.

So Sampada took her chance and killed Bajaj when Anu and Bajaj were facing each other with guns. She thought Prerna would never kill Anurag but would hate him and her plan of separating AP would be successful. But Prerna shoots him and he dies. Bajaj also dies. Oh and Prem marries Palchhin and Dhara is born. Sneha marries Omi and has P2 (Omi is dead). Shravan marries Tanisha and they have Kritika (a small story here...Shravan and Kasak, Prerna and Bajaj's daughter had a thing for each other but it didn't work out...Shravan marries Tanisha instead and Tanisha btw is Bajaj and his first wife's sister's child...yes he had a one night stand with his sis-in-law in a drunken state thinking it was prerna :P) Then we have the 20 year leap.

And of course there are lots of stories where Prerna kept slapping Anurag and blaming him for everything and never really trusting him. Poor chap kept doing everything he could to keep her happy and her family intact but he was always misunderstood by Prerna. So when she shot him even after he said he did not kill Bajaj, he was really hurt. Hence, PM is in a revenge mood now. He has been hurt too many times despite his attempts to keep her happy.
