Part 2

UD did not know what to do. All these emotions were uncontrollably rushing into him, like a powerful wave. He did not know how to react, and how she will to him. He did not know why, but the thought of them having to meet after five years, worried him so much. Mukti on the other hand did not seem to be bothered. UD could have sworn that she caught a glance of him, but she completely ignored him and carried on walking towards Mr. Kapoor. Maybe, she didn't actually see you, UD thought trying to comfort himself from the fact that he had been ignored by Basanti, of all people.

She strolled up to Mr. Kapoor and he placed his hand around her waist. He sharply pulled her towards him. To UD's disgust, Mukti's sweet smile broadened. Mr. Kapoor, raised other hand to her face, stoked her hair back and kissed her on her cheeks. UD felt an arrow of raging fire, piercing through his heart, and wished he was not here to witness this. Out of his awareness his eyes began to fill with water, as he stood still in shock. Oh please as if a 12 bedrooms mansion is not enough for you to do these things, you have to come here and do this in public, UD thought to himself. That kiss seemed to have lasted for eternity, and every second of it, UD's heart felt like it was suffering from a thousand stabs. "It is because they are making me feel sick that's why," he attempted to reassure himself.

Finally, they broke apart, and she turned around to face the workers. Silence. Mukti looked sharply around. " So, this company is going down, well no wonder, what are you doing here looking at me? Go and do your jobs. Now!" she barked, " and if any of you fail to keep up to my standards, then I swear to God, I will kick you out, like the dogs that you are!" With a great shuffle, and desperation mixed with fear, the workers rushed back out. In a matter of seconds, the room was cleared, except from Mukti, Mr. Kapoor and UD. The other two did not seem to notice that UD was present in the room, as Mr. Kapoor grabbed Mukti's hand, and again jerked her towards him, this time with both his hands around her waist and compressing her ever so tightly against him. "Well I don't blame them for wanting to stare at you," he heard Mr. Kapoor whisper to Mukti. Mukti gave a girlish laugh, as he started kissing her on the neck with a lot of passion.

Passion that UD could not bare, so he cleared his throat loudly to make his presence known. Thanks god they stopped at turned around to look at him. Although, to UD's disappointment, Mukti did not seem please to be interrupted. "Err… sorry to interrupt, but I was wondering if I should show Mukti"-
" How dare you call me by my first name!" Mukti unexpectedly boomed, " You need to have class to call me Mukti, and you, your just some would-be tramp, if my husband did not come and buy this good for nothing company." UD froze in disbelief…this is not Mukti…Mukti, she changed so much…it is still her voice, but the words coming out does not sound like her. Suddenly, he was aware of Mr. Kapoor's gaze that fixed on him and continued; " sorry, Mrs. Kapoor, if I should show you all the company files?"
" If you must, but make it quick, I hate being with…common people," Mukti replied with attitude. Mr. Kapoor said, " see you later honey," in a voice that according to UD was ridiculously romantic and then he winked at her, before exiting the room. UD and Mukti, were together…alone…after five long years. UD was about to open his mouth to say something, but Mukti stopped him by saying, " I believe you were going to get me a file? You do not need you mouth to do that and hurry up; being in this room with you is suffocating me. One more thing, whatever we were or did in the past, it was the pass. You will now address me showing me the authority that I have over you. Got that? Anyway, send me the file in my cabin, U-Dosser," Mukti said coldly. " Mukti…I…you-," UD croaked.
"Shut up," Mukti shrieked.
