Popular 'K' soaps take a Turkish turn

Mumbai :The star cast of two popular shows of Balaji Telefilms is going to Turkey for shoot. Every year Balaji takes one of its shows abroad. This way, they promote their show and the country at the same time. This year, Balaji has been invited by the government of Turkey and it is taking the star cast of its shows Kayamath and Kasamh Se there.
At first, the cast and the crew of Kasauti Zindagi Kay was to go to Turkey. But Balaji Telefilms seems to have changed its plans. "Yes, we are going in the first week of June and we have been invited by the Turkey government to shoot there," says Prachi Desai aka Bani of Kasamh Se.
"It is very exciting, this is our first outdoor shoot," says a thrilled Jai Bhanushali who plays the character of Neeve Shergill in Kayamath. "I would love to explore the country," he adds.
But only a selected members of the cast from both the serials will be going there. From Kayamath, Jai, Panchi Bora, Shabbir Ahluwalia, and a few others will go. The shooting will take place from June 4 to 10.
"It is a one-week schedule and we will be shooting in Istanbul," says Jai. The lead characters of Kasamh Se like Ram Kapoor, Prachi, Ronit Roy, Anurima, etc will also be going to Turkey.
"We were actually supposed to go in May but now our schedule has got delayed, hence we are leaving on June 8," says Prachi.
