PART THREE
After he hung up the phone, he took a long sigh. For a few minutes he sat on the sofa, and stared at the ceiling. The clock slowly ticked as he heard mukti deeply and peacefully breathing in her sleep.
Prem to himself, "God, I'm stuck with her again."
He stood up and walked to the washroom to go and change. Five minutes later he came out in grey Nike sweats and a white undershirt. He was tired, and wanted to go to sleep. He had no chose but to lie beside his new bride as she soundly slept. It felt strange. As if he were betraying her and his love but there was nothing he could do about it. He had to marry mukti. Prerna had put all his property on Mukti's name. He had no chose. He sighed in frustration. He wished he could talk to someone, but the person he wanted to talk to was most likely asleep right now. He didn't want to hurt mukti, but, he has too. With that he closed his eyes, and hoped his dreams wouldn't be as bitter as reality, he prayed that maybe mukti would forgive him one day for the pain this marriage would inflict on her. Before he closed his eyes, he looked at Mukti's angelic face…
Prem to himself, "Basanti I'm not a bad guy…I'm sorry, I know you don't deserve this. But I have to…"
Finally his eyes shut, and his dreams took over.

Morning:
A swift but quite breeze rustled through the window of the room of Prem and Mukti Sharma. The little breeze of cold air, opened the eyes, of the new bride. Her eyes opened but her head hurt. Suddenly she realized she was in the harms of the person she adored most in the world- prem. Her arms were both around her thin waist, his lips were only millimeters away from hers. His eyes were at peace. He breathed in and out in such a erythematic way. He smiled in his sleep as if he were a little boy. His heart beat was just like her…no they shared the same heart- lovers always shared the same heart. She slowly lifted up his arms and moved them aside. She got up and looked at herself in the mirror.
Mukti to her, "I'm still dressed?"
She heard a long yawn, and saw prem sitting up in bed smiling.
Prem: you must be wondering, why your still dressed?
Mukti turned red, not only at the fact that it was such a question, but at the fact that he was right!
He stood up and walked up to his new bride who was looking at herself in the mirror and smiled. Then he wrapped his arms around her small waste and smiled.
Prem: well my dear, it seems you went to sleep by the time I came out. So I decided not to bug you
Mukti smiled, and kissed his check
Prem to him self, "god damn it, do I have to be a romantic husband?!"
Prem: okeay so what were you doing?
Mukti: well I'm just going to take a shower
Prem: May I join you?
Prem to himself, "say no, say no, if you say yes she'll kill me"
Mukti laughed: No.
Prem: aww that's mean
Mukti: no, its common sense, now get your cloths out please
Prem: okeay.
As soon as Mukti went into the shower, prem dialed a number on his cell.
Prem: hello?
?: Ud, you're calling so late, whats wrong?
Prem: I slept late last night.
?: you didn't do anything right?
Prem: How many times do I have to tell you jaan, I didn't
?: where is she now?
Prem: Washroom
?: mmmmm, Can't we go out for lunch or something?
Prem: no hun we cant, I have to spend a couple of days with her, then I'll go on a "Business trip" an then and you can be there okeay?
?: UD, what the hell was wrong with your mom, she gave all your money to her, and you can't get it back unless she signs in off to you!
Prem: just wait and watch, she'll sign it off no problem.
?: okeay I have to go…
Prem: why? We have a good half hour!
?: doctors appointment
Prem: you okeay?
?: after that car accident, my head just hurts.
Prem: I'll come with you
?: no, you should be with her…we cant risk her getting suspicious.
Prem: bye, love you
?: love you too.
Ten minutes later, mukti came out in a beautiful red sarree, her black hair was soaking wet, the diamond earring shined through her hair, and her mehndi hands with her sin door and mangalsutra just showed her as a newly blushing bride. Prem looked up, she looked beautiful, but he felt gaily…he shouldn't get attached, but he was.
Mukti: Husband dear what you looking at?
Prem: you of course! No I have to go take a shower too!
He went in and came out 20 minutes later, in a towel singing a tune he made up going… "Prem, prem, prem is the name- yeah...la, la, la, la!!!" He didn't think anyone was in the room he was used to being a bachelor. He walked to his vanity, which really wasn't only "his" anymore. Took a brush and talked into it like it was a microphone
Prem: "Well Mr. Prem, what is your last name by the way sir, all the lovely ladies want to know what there future, dream husbands sir name is!"
Prem: Well, I have giving the women of this world three chooses, SHARMA, BAJAJ, or BASU…its there chose…
Mukti who was sitting on the bed, bursted out laughing
Prem sharply turned around and looked at her…
Prem: BASANTI! What are you doing here!
Mukti: huh, were married, it's my room too
Prem smacked his hand on his head: this is going to take some time to get used to
Mukti: you don't have to get used to it, because I enjoy laughing at the silly things you do when you think people aren't around 😆
Prem: 😡
As prem walked down the stairs in his jeans, black blazer, and red shirt, he smiled. They both sat down at the breakfast table, beside each other. Prerna smiled at Mr. Bajaj, she was so happy- because she thought prem had changed for the better.
Prerna: where are you kids planning to go for your honey moon?
Prem: I have to go to a business conference next week
Mr. B: well we can make Thushar handle that
Prem: no daddy cool, I worked on that all year…solider can't just have it
Prerna: okeay baba, you can go, just spend the week with mukti.
Prem: Okeay, basanti where do you want to go?
Mukti: mmmmm anywhere I guess?
Prem: well I have it all planned out. First Parks, then beach, movies, dinner, club, then well go to the fair tomorrow…
He went on and on…mukti just looked at his eyes so excited….she was soo happy.
Two days of fun and games passed. Mukti didn't even realize when prem put something in her drink and she'd fall asleep. She'd believe it when he said, "basanti you get tired easily, when I come back you're fast asleep" the reason she believed it was because they would do so much for the day she'd feel so tired. Prem was getting angry he couldn't keep up this act of loving someone he really didn't love, but he didn't hate her either. But no, he could do this anymore…
After the third day of fun, prem and mukti were driving back from the water park. As prem drove on he looked out the window…he didn't want to look at mukti who looked too tempting as she sleep- no this time he hadn't drugged her…she was just tired. After the half hour drive, they arrived home. He stopped the black benz, and stepped out. And opened Mukti's door. But she was asleep. He didn't want to wake her up, she he slowly picked her up…and walked to the door. He face looked so innocent, at peace and clam her long hair resting on her pink check…he blue sarree flowing in the air. She tightened her grip around him…and spoke in her sleep…
Mukti: I love you prem…
It pierced is heart every time she said that, a sudden urge of guilt washed over him…has if he were committing a sin…too terrible to be forgiven…
Prem: I…love you too basanti
Prem to himself, "liar, why'd you say that! Why!"
He opened the door with great difficulty, but finally managed to open it…it was dark, he stepped on step closer the lights went on…
People: SURPRISE!
The whole house was luxuriously decorated…all there friends where there, and prerna and Mr. Bajaj smiled.
Prerna: aw, look Mukti's sleeping…
She still was, but finally prem shock her awake…she yawned and put her head on his shoulder, then she realized people were there, and prem put her down to blush.
Prem: mother India what is this all?
Prerna: your party, to celebrate with your friends! Don't worries we're going to Anurag's house for dinner you kids have fun!
Prerna kissed mukti and prem on there for heads and walked out with Mr. Bajaj.
Prem or Yudi's friends all huddled around them
Guy (Avi): Wow, you and married eyy? I'm totally shocked
Girl (Anjali): Yudi, not fair you promised soo many others a dance, now she's the only one that can dance with you!
Guy (Arjun): Married….Omg….still cant believe it.
After a while of chit chat, prem sat down and talked with Mukti's friends, to show he actually (even though he didn't) have a interest in Mukti's life.
Ten minutes later. A Girl with long curled black hair, and a blue dress and jeans show's up with white roses in her hand (umm wait I don't know the actress name ummm darn let me find a picture!)
She smiled, Mukti went running up to her
Mukti: PARVATI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no not the Parvati from KGGK!)
Parvati: Yupp its me Mukii!
Prem: Mukii?
Mukti laughed: Paro calls me Mukii
Parvati: and she calls me Paro
Prem laughed
Parvati: so mukii this is your hubbie eyy? Prem right?
Prem: yeah
Parvati: these are for you!
Prem and mukti: thanks!
The party went on, everyone was having a blast. Mukti wanted to go show everyone the wedding pictures, she sent Parvati to go get them
Parvati: but I don't even know where the album is😕
Mukti: oh ummm, prem show her and can you go get the camera too?
Prem: sure.
As soon as they reached the room to go get the camera, prem shut the door.
After checking if anyone was there, they held each other…
Prem grabbed her waist and smiled
Prem: eyy Paro…your so sly eyy?
Parvati laughed and kissed him on the check.
Parvati: UD, gosh….I feel terrible now…I've known Mukti from 3rd grade.
Prem: its okeay jaan. We need the money…
Parvati: she'll forgive us right?
Prem: the world always forgives people in love
Parvati: I love you so much…but is this right?
Prem: I love you too….and don't worry about it- I think I've don't worse.
They both laughed….
