Okeay, so ladies ang gentlemen {by the way- are there any gentelmen here😕😆) its time again for a DOTW (whatever that stands for- i forgot😳...wait! i remember! its DISSCUSION OF THE WEEK😃) anyways this time i was givin the oppertuninty to post it, and this time its all about...

" Charecter's name, meaning, and how ironic it can be"

So basically I'm listing some names, many people in the other topic( i guess we should have the link above) guessed or really knew the meaning of some names...and surprisingly its seems Miss. Kapoor maybe thought out the names or its a weird coincidence that they really match the charecter or sound too ironic!😆

Here are some little thoughts to start off with 😊

1. Do you think that Ekta actually thought about the names to match the characters? Or is it a coincidence?

2. Do you agree with each character names meaning? (In other words do you think it suits the character?

3. If you disagree with the characters name- what would you have liked to name that certain character(s)?

4. Do you ever think of what each characters name actually means- doesn't it ever cross your mind?

Names and there meaning(s) [well many ppl came up with a lot- so I put down the ones that made the most sense! 😆]

1. Rishab... a musical note "RE" or a strong Bull

2. Prerna... love/devotion/inspiration

3. Anurag...love/passion

4. Sneha...love

5. Prem...Love

6. Kasak...(since no one really knew the answer- im guessing) Story?

7. Komolika...soft/tricky, suductive women

8. Aperna...another name for Paravti

9. Mukti...freedom

10. Sampatha...wealth

11. Omi...another name for Lord Shiv

12. Yuvraj...Crown Prince

13. Thushar...snow/dew

14. Cookie...Cookies 😃

15. Mahesh...another name for lord Shiv

16. Debonita...anger 😕 {well it dose make sense!}

17. Doris...from the sea {greek word}

18. Vishakha...straight up 😕

19. Jeevan...Life

20. Karan...Eldest son of the Pandavas.

21. Yudi... [well know one came up with a meaning- and some think there isn't one, so I came up with one 😃 ] HOT 😳

22. Basanti...spring

23. Veeru...strong?

24. Devki...Krishna's Mother

25. Mohini...beutiful

26. Shavarn...fifth month of the hindu calender

27. Tanisha... [multiple meanings]

okeay so lets see what ironic meanings and simpilarties in the names you guys can come up with! For example did you notice that anu, prerna, sneha, and prem all have the meaning "love" asociated with there names? is that a coincidence or did ekta actually put some thought into it?😕

Anurag :- it means not only love but passion too, But I am suspected Anurag is not that type. He used to be a giving person.

Rishab :- I can't agree to that name .Basically he is not a musical person .He did n't know what is love and did business with love and that musical man is very selfish and you know the rest.
Komolika :- Did she did any sofe work here.? lols .meaning of that word in our language is very tricky woman and seduceing type . So that name is perfectly suitable to her.

i def think she thought abouth the names...coz u can;t jus think of Komolika out of the top of yr head...**Mayb Ekta can😕😆**...i think she tried to cme up with names that suited the chracters

well some of them to...and others don;t...like Komolika means soft...it really doesn;t suit her chracter...but others do

just wanted the names to be a lil simple...like pooja...neva wud u see that name in a ekta serial....she has to cme with the wierdest names!!

not really😆...i just look at the name😆...neva crossed my mind as to wat "rishab" means...or vat "prena" means😆

I think some of them were chosen carefully like Prem, Mukti, Sneha, Prerna and Anurag but some like Vishaka... I don't think so!

SAmpatha ;- not only wealth .Meaning of that name is a resource of very valubles..rather hudge amount of something very valuble.
Up to now she kept that meaning of her name.
Mohini:- I liked that name very much ..That name is very much suitable to her...she is very selfish and tricky and
doesn't listen to others type. Our vumpire Goddess Mohini who is excisting in our stories
is that type.
Mukti :- did she give any mukti to Prerm No.BEc of her Prerm was threw out from his home..And Prem became a vegetable too .Every one is in utter mess bec of this mukti. I have a qusetion mark there???????????
Cookie:- its a soft food ment to be crushed ..crunchy type. My God that one is very spoilt
kid and can throw tantrums always at a slight reason
and must find a better name for her.

Kasak :- is a fruit seed edible..Black color.. this name is good for Cookie,..
the seed is looked different when it is soaked in water .Cookie is that type.she looks like rather calm type but very disturbed when at a bad situation and you can predict her actions.

Prerna .How can that be........A nice name only .I read from this India Forums she is the queen of misunderstanding and so on..She should adopt some of mohini's qualites to become prerna .....

Rishabh is the ideal name for the character Ronit is portraying.. Prem should be named something like Aryan and Anurag should have been Sameer... lol!

Rishabh- ideal STRONG RUGGED NAME! 😳

😆 i like the name aryan for prem {but have no clue what it means} but i think ekta wanted to make prem and prerna's names seem similar 😊 but then shouldnt she have tryed to make sneha's name start with an "A" to coincide with anurags?
