PRB are welcoming guests to PD's engagement. The dress code is white, and PRB look hot, as usual . Mahesh and Indro share a joke, Aparna and the family talk nonsense.
Prem is getting ready with the help of S&S (Samay and Sulabh). THAT song plays; happy male version. He looks hot No change there On the other hand, sad female version plays on Devki who is also getting ready. We see Kuki again after ages - funny, she was the one who dressed Mukti for her engagement as well
Devki looks at the time, and remembers what the gunde said about getting their money ready else her brother would suffer.
Tushar announces Prem and Devki's arrival into the party - Devki is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overdressed, she looks like a blushing bride instead of just the fiancee... Prem hands her a rose (awwwwwwwww) and they walk doen the stairs of the Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii house (preleap) and take aashirwad from PRB. Devki is about to touch RB's feet, but he innocuously stops her: she feels the sting.
Omi arrives in the party, (my God - three hot men in white in the same party? Hubba hubba!!) writes his name on a bouquet of flowers and tells a waiter to give them to PD. Then he leaves. Outside, he remembers time spent with Sneha. Yuvi drives by and stops - they glare at each other, and w/o a word, Yuvi leaves. Omi wonders what he was doing here.
The announcer requests PD to come onto the dancefloor. Somewhere else, the gunde come out of a car with Devki's lil bro and call Devki. Prem takes her phone from her, gives it to MI and takes D onto the dancefloor. The phone rings again, Prerna answers it and before she can speak, the gunde (thinking she is D) reiterate their demand for the money, and threaten her with her bro's life. Prerna is shocked.
PD dance to "Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahin". (Mera dil bhi nahin maanta that Mukti is dead - I dunno why but I just can't believe it. Or maybe I don't want to believe it ) Finally, some of that PM/MT magic seeps through - even PD look sorta cute as their flashbacks play.
Song ends, Aparna asks P what happened. As usual, Prerna finds no hesitation in telling the wrong people her life story, so she tells Aparna that Devki was right - they really have kidnapped her bro. Aparna fakes some concern (well, acc. to the show, she is real, but I and the audience know better:-t ) and wonders what to do. P says that they have to give them the money. P says she will go. Mahesh says that he will call the cops. Aparna also wants to go with him...of course she does. My suspicions get stronger about her everyday. P wonders to herself how she got manage to think so wrong of Devki....duh, what's amazing about that? You're the Queen of Misunderstandings...but of course, she doesn't tell Bajju the truth. As she leaves, her pallu gets stuck in his watch (MY GOD!! EKTAAAAAAAAAAA! Now the woman is shamelessly stealing scenes from PM??? YOU CAN'T RECREATE THE PM MAGIC IF YOU DON'T BRING PM BACK, YOU FOOL!!!! ) and Kya Pyar Karoge Mujhse plays. This is a foreshadowing of upcoming troubles, I just know it

The gunde are waiting, discussing their plan. Mahesh and the cops wait in the bushes. OMG! I just had the wierdest thought - I know that Aparna is most definitely evil, but what if we don't discover that until its too late? I mean, it seems that maybe, *just maybe* they might pair Mahesh and Aparna together! After all, he is single, albeit a new father and she...well, her husband married another woman (Here's a thought - do you reckon Anurag will forgive Aparna so readily?), and judging by the influx of Mahesh-Aparna scenes today, that is a very real possibility...
P gets in her car, ready to leave with the cash. We see a bomb has been placed under the car....

Bharath from KGGK performs "Tauba Tauba" from Kaal. Here's an interesting tidbit: did you know that this actor who makes an appearance in KZK today has already appeared on it once before? That's right - he made a 10 minute appearance in early May, when he testified in court against Mukti during her rape track. We later discovered that he had been paid by Shailendra Gupta to malign Mukti, and this lead to Kamini and Sneha's discovery of the truth. The girl is the one from K. Street Pali Hill, who also danced, ironically, on Mukti and Kul's engagement, to "Chali Chali" from Baghban. Well, not that you would be interested, but hey - some trivia for you!

The gunde discuss why Devki hasn't arrived - they get the gun out on D's bro. The police make their move. A fight ensues and the gunde get caught. Aparna takes care of the bro, and at the party, the song continues. What is the deal with item numbers in soaps as well? We already have them in movies, now we have to deal with them in serials as well?
RB calls P but gets her voicemail. He is worried and wonders where she is. P is still driving, the bomb is ticking away unnoticed. Mahesh and Aparna need to stop P with the money. It seems as if they are driving in the same place, although technically, they should be going in opposite directions! Well, seems they are - and they turn around to follow P's car. Why are they so adamant to stop her? The goons have been caught, haven't they? NO danger? So why the panic? And for God's sake, do you people not have cell phones? Just give the woman a call!! She's even got Devki's cell at the moment...
At the party, PD are about to exchange rings; Mahesh and Aparna chase P's car; the bomb ticks closer to blast-off and suddenly.......................time runs out. BANG!!!! P's car explodes and bursts into fire as Mahesh, Aparna and Devki's bro look on in horror. RB gets a call from Aparna, and the screen divides into RB's worried face and P's blasted remnants of a car. End.
Wow, explosive episode, pun intended!! I guess tomorrow we shall see that somehow, miraculously P either a)escapes wit minor burns or b)wasn't even in the car! And PD's engagement will most certainly be called off - for the moment. Oh the twisted ways to keep the engagement away for a little longer....
