Part II: A broken heart

Prem stared in Mukti in the utter shock belief.. The words ringing in his ears, I cannot marry you because I am engaged to Sameer.. Sameer, who was this sameer? The word"Mein" turned Prem completly around. Here stood a tall man with flowers in his hand and a sweet smile on his face. He turned and stared at Mukti who smiled back. "Hi, I am Sameer, Sameer Malhotra.. and you must be.. Prem right.. Prem turned around and noded his numbly.. "Hi, nice to meet you." He took out his hand and Prem returned it back. He walked over to Mukti and gave her a hug. "How are you sweetheart?" "I am fine" "Ready to go? I'll get the discharge paper ready" Mukti smiled and stared back at Prem. Prem just walked away leaving Mukti to cry ...Kabhi Na Sakon Aye"

Prem walked past the hospital and on the road not knowing what to do. He only knew that there was only one person who could have helped him. He didn't know if he should or not and dialed a number. A woman spoke "Hello" "Prem uttered slowly "Ma" Prerna turned out in shock.. Prem?? Bajaj also turned around.. "Ma, I need you.. Please Ma, come and meet me" "Haan beta, I am coming, where are you? Prerna informed Bajaj and just then as they turned to leave.. in walked in Bajaj's partners. He sat to talk to them while Prerna left.

Prem walked lifeless on the streets when a car coming at him. He didn't know what to do until the man grabbed him "Prem" Prem stared with in tears in his eyes "Dad" Anurag turned around and faced him. Prerna also met them at the same angle. "Prem" "What happened Prem?" "Mom and Dad, I have lost, I have lost" "Beta, what are you saying?" "Mom, I hurt you, but you forgave me. I hurt Dad, and he too forgave me, I hurt Bajaj dad, and he too forgave me, but I hurt Mukti and she has not forgiven me and neither has God. "Prem, what are you saying? Didn't you tell Mukti? " I did mom... I did.. Mom, Mukti is pregnant with my kids. "Kids?" "Yes dad, Mukti is carrying twins but she cannot be mine. " Why not beta?" "Because mom, she is engaged?" "What? "Yes mom, she is engaged to some man name Sameer, and she has broken me.. I have lost her forever" Tears wepped down Prem's eyes. Anurag and Prerna stared at Prem with tears down their eyes...

In the Sameer's house...

"Mukti, are you feeling better?" "Yea, Thanks Sameer" "Heyy, no thanks in friendship nah?" "Yeah" smiled Mukti. Mukti was lucky to have found Sameer. Prem had given her so much pain, and despite knowing everything about her, Sameer agreeded to accept her and give his name to her kids. She stared at the picture of her and Sameer, but deep down she knew that Sameer was merly a friend and she still loved Prem. She wiped her tears, no, she didn't love, She hated him...

"Mukti?" Mukti turned to face Prerna...
