Mukti blushed whereas Prem winked at her. He had not been exaggerating. He could not wait to be legally bound to Mukti and had to consent to an engagement till after their schooling was over. Their engagement was to take place witin a week after their winter break. Everyone was aware of their ongoing courtship and was clearly delighted to see the couple which was clearly made in heaven get together; everyone that is except for Rahul. He watched the two of them with growing anger and annoyance.
Mukti: well now that we are finally here, what do oyu want us to do?
Kavya: nothing much but I need a huge favour. Mukti raised her brow quizzically.
Kavya: well ever since we got engaged, I have'nt been allowed to see Anjali except for during various rasams, and even then we don't get any privacy. I was hoping you could help me out with that, he pleaded with Mukti.
Mukti: say no more. I get what you mean. Just tell me when and where.
Kavya: well I was hoping we could spend the whole day out together.
Prem: I think I can help you with that. Everyone I want you to be ready by 8am tomorrow. Mukti you will go and pick Anjali up. Make up any excuse.We are going out. With a nod of his head, he went off to make a phonecall leaving the rest staring at him in confusion.
Sharad: well you heard the man. They disperersed and the guys went off to the disc whereas the girls went over to pay Anjali a visit who was just as anxious to see Kavya as he was she was delighted to hear that she would be able to meet her beloved Kavya inanother 12 hrs.
Anjali: but what about mum? What do I tell her?
Mukti: you leave that to me. She went off in search of Anjali's mother and soon came back with a satisfied grin on her face.
Anjali: Well?
Mukti: I told her that I had to shop for the wedding and that I wanted you to accompany me. She was only too happy to allow you to leave with me. Anjali screamed with delight and embraced Mukti.
The next day everyone gathered in the hall right on time. Thay all looked at Prem expectantly for some clueof what was going on. Prem merely smiled and extracted 16 tickets from his pocket. 8 of them were for a horror movie and the rest were for a theme park.
Mukti: Prem what are these for?
Prem: firstly hum sab movie dekhnay jaein gay and after that we will got to the theme park. Any questions? Then lets go.He grabbed a hold of Mukti and got into his car and one by obe, all the couples got into different cars and drove off. Prem had arranged everything in such a manner that every couple had their own privacy and were not in the same row. He had chosen a horro epic for most of the girls especially his siters had a tendency to hold hands during a scary part and he was hoping it was the same with Mukti.
However Prem was sorely disappointed, not only was Mukti unafraid, she watched the movie with utmost attention and Prem had no chance to use the privacy of the dark to his use. He came out frowning while Mukti and Anjali were busy talking about the movie. He glanced at Kavya and noticed he bore the same grim look.
Kavya: yaar Prem kis nay kaha tha ke itni interesting movie choiose karo.Anjali hardly paid any attention to me throughout.
Prem: main nay soocha ke scray movie hai, daar jaein ge per Mukti nay bhi poori movie manin meri taraf dekha he nahi. Meanwhile Anjali and Mukti were in full gusto about the movie.
Anjali: I swear this is the best movie I have seen so far.
Mukti:I agree. Final Destination is a very good movie. Before she could say another word, Prem scopped her up in his arms and ran out of the cinema, with Mukti shouting protests while people looked at them with amusement and some with contempt. Following his example, the rest did the same and ran off with the girls screaming in anger.
Mukti stared at Prem as he drove the car. She had never been in love before and cherished the feeling. She smiled indulgently and twirled the ring that Prem had given to her when he first asked her out. She looked outside and to her amazement; she saw that both of them were at the beach.
Prem: finally some privacy. He got out of the car and extended his hand to Mukti. Both of them strolled around the beach, hand in hand talking and giggling away.
Mukti: prem we'd better get going, before the others send a search party for us.
Prem: well if we must he agreed reluctantly. They got in the car and drove off and reached the theme park in a matter of minutes.
Anjali: where were you guys. I thought that this time Prem had kidnapped you for sure.
Mukti: we made a short detour to the beach.
Sneha: short? You guys are 45 mins late. We were worried.
Shravan: comeon. They were together. Now that they are finally here, can we have some fun? Everyone dispersed yet once again, and had fun with their respective partners. The guys used their brains and steered clear of the others, so that they could have the girls all to themselves. Later that day, all of them assembled together and spent the time talking.
Prem: enough talking. I'm bored. Let's play a game.
Sharad: how about truth and dare? He smilead at Sneha who blushed, remembering the last time they had played the game.
Prem: hell no! I don't want you making out with my sister in front of me again.
Kasak: who knows? It might be you who's actually getting the action this time.
Prem: I'm game.
Everyone sat down in a circle and they spun the bottle. It landed on Sneha.
Kasak: well well well!! So what do you choose? Truth or dare.
Sneaha: Dare
Kasak: I dare you to enter the caf, stand on the table and sing the national antem outloud. Sneha got up detrmined to carry out the task and did so with great dignity, she was greatly surprised when everyone got up and sang along with her. Everyone giggled with glee and came out to continue. The bottle was spun again and this time it landed on…….Sharad.. Prem, his eyes glinting with mischief leaned forth and asked Sharad.
Prem: so buddy. Truth or dare?
Sharad: Dare.Prem grinned widely and whispered something in Sharad's ear. Sharad looked at Prem with eyes wide open.
Prem: you gotta do it bro.
