Hi I have been a long time lurker and this is my first post here. I really
liked the character of Prerna when this soap started off and am so
disappointed with the way that her character has shaped up. I have
several issues with her. Some of them being:
Her total lack of trust in any of her relationships. While she was married
to Anurag she did not trust his judgement and did not confide in him. She
decided instead to trust Mr. Bajaj - while he is a mature and dependable
individual - she should have kept in mind that she was married to Anurag
and that relationship should have been above all others. Now that she is
married to Mr. Bajaj she did not trust his judgement either, she knew that
he was not happy with Kasak's wedding, now instead of respecting his
judgement and talking it out with him she decides that Kasak deserves to
be with the love of her life. For Christs sake lady your daughter is 18 what
she is experiencing is a crush not the romance of a lifetime - LISTEN TO
YOUR HUSBAND 😡 . Even now despite all that has happened she goes to
Anurag's house to talk to his mother. Does'nt she have a mom and
siblings of her own. Another issue that I have with her character is her
immense sense of self-righteousness. Slapping Anurag and pointing
fingers at Mr. Bajaj at every opportunity, she refuses to look at what she
is. It is not as if she is without flaws, she too has made mistakes and
erred in her judgement. Honestly, I think it is time this soap is called
Kasauti Mr Bajaj aur Anurag ki, coz that is what life is with Madam Prerna.
Ok I have ranted enuff, I hope I havent offended any Prerna fans. Just
wanted to put in my two cents
