LOL, even if Mukti is currently dead, don't tell me that Ekta can't wave her magic wand and bring her back to life! This is a TV show, and moreover, it is an Ekta show, where bloopers don't matter - she can come up with any stupid reason for showing Mukti's aatma....

I'm sure this is some stupid twist. Maybe Mukti had amnesia and someone sent her away and made everyone else think that she was dead. It really doesnt matter because it's absolute career suicide that Etka keeps Mukti dead. She really has no choice but to bring her back.
