You can have unconditional love, but still distrust someone... just like you can completely love someone (like a colleague in an office project) but not necessarily love them.

Prem does not have to trust his mother, but can definitely love her. Do you think Mukti trusts Prem completely... because I don't think so. If she trusted him, she would have told him that she loved him too. It is because she is still afraid and distrustful of him that she is trying to hide her love. She hid her love from him for he longest time before Valentine's day because she knew she didn't trust him of understanding it.

His mother is always mistrusting him... but he is one hell of a confused and brain dead person to not see blind, unconditional and deep love for him. She is mad for him, but he refuses to see it.

Oh, trust me I am infatuated with Prem's character... it's what drew me to KZK first. But we shouldn't be blind to the reality. I'll forgive Prem the day he attains for his sins against his mother, or the day when he falls in her laps and cries with repentance and for all the years of hidden love for her.
