Splitsville for Sandeep, Urvashi

After dating for barely a few months, Urvashi Dholakia and Sandeep Chowta are no longer together.

The buzz from telly circles indicates that the actress and the music composer have now parted ways.

Dholakia, who is finally back as the scheming Komolika in Star's Kasautii Zindagii Kay, is also seen as Noyonika in Sony's afternoon soap Risshton Ki Dor.

Dholakia had always been extremely guarded about her relationship with Sandeep.

And it is learnt that she now keeps to herself and maintains her distance from most people on the sets.

In fact, the Kasautii unit members find her to be a completely different person post her link up with Chowta. On the other hand, she mingles a bit with her co-actors on the sets of Risshton Ki Dor.

As both Dholakia and Chowta had been linked to others before, the buzz doing the rounds currently is that theirs was a relationship of convenience, which was not bound to last.

'No comments'

When asked about the state of affairs, Dholakia says, "I have always maintained that I don't like to answer personal questions. I don't want to say anything on this front. I will only say, 'No comments'."

As reported in HiTLIST earlier this year ('Komolika's mystery man revealed' (April 21, 2006)) both had admitted that they were seeing each other. In fact, Chowta had had even composed an instrumental track Ihsavru (Urvashi in reverse) dedicated to his ladylove.

Other priorities

Says an onlooker, "Sandeep and Urvashi's careers are very different from each other. Moreover, both are too busy with their own lives. Urvashi has two sons from her earlier marriage who study in boarding school. They are her biggest priority right now."

Incidentally, Dholakia had announced that she would set up a production house, which is yet to see the light of day.
