They have a three-and-a-half-year age gap between them. The relationship they share is more of friends than siblings.. q Shama claims that she is closest to Rizwan from all her other siblings. They are a total of four. q Shama says he is homely, is like a son to her and also possesses that dependability factor. q Rizwan is extremely possessive about Shama. q He is one person who has supported her throughout her career. q The qualities she likes in him are his caring nature and his ability to stand by her, no matter what. q Shama claims that one thing strange about them is that they never fight. q She dislikes the fact that he always messes with her stuff and does not put things back in their place as a result of which she is always searching for her things. q Rizwan fondly addresses Shama as appa. q Shama is a complete vegetarian whereas Rizwan is totally into non-veg food. q Both of them are not very superstitious. q They are each other's best critics q Shama claims that Rizwan has taught her how to control her temper. When she loses her cool due to work pressure, Rizwan calms her down. Memorable incident This happened while they were staying in Thane. The area where they were living was very conservative. Shama would always leave the house wearing a burkha. She and her brother would travel by train till Andheri and from there they would take an autorickshaw. In the auto, Shama would remove her burkha below which she would be wearing western clothes. They both remember this incident till date and laugh heartily over the simple fact that her removing her burkha would draw a lot of attention from passers by and her brother claims that sometimes the driver would not be aware as to what was happening and wonder who the lady he had just dropped off was. l Rupali Ganguly and Vijay They are just two siblings. Vijay is three years younger than Rupali. q He is a dance instructor with Shiamak Davar and travels extensively around the world. . q For the first five years, Vijay thought he was adopted as Rupali used to tease him saying " tumko kachre ke dabbe se uttay"... q They studied in the same school. Rupali was very protective of him then and would expect Vijay to walk with her back home but Vijay would always reach home early because he used to get easily embarrassed as Rupali was very clumsy and would always walk into things. q When they were kids,Vijay would always dress up as Spiderman or Superman and Rupali would direct the scenes. q In the past four years... Memorable incidents Once when they were in Kolkota all their family members had gone for paan after dinner. Rupali purchased two five-star chocolates. She suddenly fell into a gutter. In order to prevent the chocolate from getting dirty she lifts her hand so all that anyone could see was one hand out of the gutter with a 5 star in it. At that point her brother and dad burst out laughing. l Shweta And NidhaaN q As a Kid Shweta was a big kamchor and always made her brother do the work. Her logic was if he messed the house he should clean it up. q As a child, Shweta always wanted a baby brother. As soon as Nidhaan was born, she was happy. But then she realised that everyone was giving more attention to Nidhaan. So she got very angry and told her parents to return him to the hospital from where he was brought. q When Nidhaan was in school he had to keep his hair short. Once after their summer vacations Nidhaan's hair had grown long and he refused to cut it. So Shweta lovingly told him that no one would force him to cut his hair. He was very happy that she supported him. The next morning when he woke up he was horrified to see one side of his hair chopped off. When he confronted his sister and mother, Shweta very calmly told him that a rat might have come and eaten his hair. |
