I am amazed to know that most of the ronit fans haven't seen Jaan Tere Naam. IS there anybody who has seen JTN?

Ok let me give u sm gyaan. Jaan Tere Naam was Ronit Roy's first movie. He was introduced in the movie . His heroine was sm female called Farheen who tries to look like madhuri dixit. Ronit's entry in the movie was on a motor-cycle- very stylish- He arrives on the bike and the letters flash on the screen- Introducing Ronit Roy

The movie got released in early 1990s and it was a big hit. The songs were superhits.

All I can say is- Watch It. It's a treat for anybody who likes Ronit. We are used to seeing him in serious roles- like vibha said in SBS- Sanjida. But in JTN he plays this regular college kid, riding a motor-cycle, writing his exam papers, playing pranks on his professors, assuring his mom that he would study well, romancing his GF, fighting with the villians!

Do watch it. You can either rent it, or better still, u can buy VCD from any VCD shop. It will cost u in the range of 50-100 bucks.

Warning : you may go absolutely CRAZY for ronit after watching JTN.

Ronitfan,

Even I have the JTN VCDs. I just loooovvvvveeeeee to watch it. He is sooooooooo good in it. Too much hot. I rarely get to see the movie from start to finish but I love to watch it-even for 2-3 minutes.

I love that scene where he mimics the professors "Shakuntala" LOL !!!

Also the canteen scene (samosa wala) 😆

And ofcourse, all the romantic scenes. JTN rocks !!! He is choooo chweeeet in it. I just feel the teen-ager girls in 1992 were IDIOTS. How come Ronit didn't become a bigger star than SRK or Salman 😕

but all ronitfans, don't miss JTN.

Prachi, u r looking for renting it or buying it?

Renting ka to pata nahi, lekin JTN VCD Mumbai mein kisi bhi medium-size VCD shop mein mil jayegi. It's price was some 65 bucks when I bought it..

If u ever go to town side, try Planet M, or any other big store.
