Well she is not going away forever,she will be just on holiday for a month and someone has to take her place

why? Someone's not going to come in for a month and be Prerna only to have Shweta come back and resume the role...most likely they might show PRB on holiday or something and shift the focus to either the basus or the young 'uns....it makes no sense to "replace" her and then place her right back....

There have been situations when actresses were replaced and brought back again.For example Parvati in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki or Brooke Logan in the Bold And The Beautiful.This doesn't affect the actress' position unless her performance is poor and the replacement is better.

I know there have been, but those tracks stretched for more than a month. Parvati wasn't "brought back", that was always the storyline and what an elaborate one too...it would be a hell of a lot easier just to give actors time off and avoid paying them for a month rather than concoct another dramatic story full of histrionics...especially straight after we've had this one...she's going to want to keep the mood light for a while, not jump into another full-blown idiotic storyline...
