Is Prem really to be blamed?

Hey people there have been many posts on Prem being more responsible for Mukti's devastation than sharad and all but is that really true???I mean other than drugging her drink and not supporting her in the case(which can still happen)I dont see anything else he did wrong....

Accusation#1:Prem has ruined Mukti's life????Excuse me but how is sleeping with a girl who herself approached u despite knowing ur background and how flirtatious u are,ruining her life????He told her that he did not want to do anything to her and even moved away when she turned away while he tried coming close to her....Moreover,she pulled him closer when he was moving away....So who is to be blamed???

Prem did not rape Mukti,they had consensual sex and Mukti knew what she was doing,and both the guy and girl are equally responsible for the consequences....

Accusation#2:He gave Sharad the idea that the girl was easy???He only told sharad that he slept with her and sharad assumed that she was easy....If i tell u i like a guy,and u presume i slept with him,that's ur problem...ur making assumptions,i gave u no idea that said i slept with him!!!

Accusation#3:Drugged her and caused her to be raped???I do admit that he was wrong at drugging her but how can u blame him for being responsible for Mukti's rape???If i ask u to come to my house in the middle of the night and u get raped by a guy on the way,u cant blame me cos I didnt rape u...I did make a mistake by calling u in the middle of the night and indirectly created a situation that could have caused harm,but I did not intend to rape u or get someone to rape u,did I??

Accusation#4;He insulted her and made acidic comments on her rape humiliating her????Excuse me but whatever he said was true and she humiliated herself by wrongly accusing him in front of everybody and crying out loud to the whole world without fumbling that "I have been raped"...Which rape victim acts like her???He said nothing about her character and only said that why would he need to rape a girl who he's already slept with???

Why does Prem need to feign innocence??And by telling the truth to all,he will redeem himself as the only injustice he has done to mukti is not supporting the truth and helping sharad...If there's anyone who cant redeem himself in Mukti and prerna's eyes,it should be Sharad and not Prem...

Sometimes it is not about what you do, it is what you think. Prem's thinking stinks. And not only does he think, he always says what he thinks to everyone...maligning Mukti. He supports Sharad. Why Prem! Mahesh, Shailendra area as guilty as Sharad.

You are entitled to your opinion. But Prem is as guilty as Sharad.

No Prem really is not guilty at all. He's the modern image of Bhagwaan Ram... he's faultless, impeccable! It's all Mukti's fault... the slut, how dare woh driver ki beti think she could meddle in everything! Tramps need to be taught a lesson, and Prem and Sharad were wise enough to show her that!

broken heart is right. this is what we have come to: we cannot fault prem because "that's his character", but we fault Mukti because she chose to look beyond that character, because she thought she spotted some humanity in him. we fault her because she was wrong about him.

Accusation 1:They had consensual sex, true, but prem knew full well what her reasons for it were..just ten minutes before she had told him she loved him! how could he not know what he was doing after that? sure, he made to go at one point, why didn't he follow through with that and crush Mukti by telling her he didn't want to sleep with her?? He let it happen because he wanted it to happen, but he knew that Mukti was only doing it because she loved him. He led her on.

Accusation 2: He didn't just tell Sharad that he slept with Mukti: they shared a disgusting (but typical guy) joke: How was it? Not bad! Ha ha ha! Yes, it was Sharad in this scenario who was the idiot, but Prem certainly didn't help matters. Knowing a girl's feelings and what she is like, how could he just unabashedly destroy her character?

Accusation 3: Sure, he didn't know that she was going to be raped, but drugging her in itself is a stupid, horrible thing to do. Did he not even consider the idea that in a party full of hormonal, drink-fuelled men, something like that COULD happen?

Accusation 4: Prem taunted her endlessly, calling her "driver ki beti" and implying that she was cheap. At the party he held, some guy asked if she had really been raped and he said, who knows? Sure, Mukti should have got her facts straight, but she had just been raped!! He had threatened her the night of the party that he could do anything. How can she be blamed for utting two and two together??

Prem is feigning innocence because he is not telling anyone that he was the one who drugged her...he is not telling anyone that he knows Sharad raped Mukti and that he has the tapes to prove it. Sharad may be beyond redemption, but Prem is not "dood ka dhula hua".

i tottally agree wit u pswayer he is not all that good i believe that itktis fualt as well sleeping wit prem but prem is very deep down hard he still didnt symtie with her wen she got raped he did it for money

Prem is definitely to be blamed...He is protecting a rapist...He has hid all the evidence that Sharad is the rapist...cuz otherwise, Sneha would have found out the truth already...Its funny how an accomplice to a rapist is getting more support than the rape victim...this why such rapes continue to occur...cuz we always blame the victim...

To put my two bits in Prem definitely is responsible for ruining Mukti's life. Leave aside the fact that he slept with her when he didn't love her, he just broke her heart. But considering that she was a friend, he really didn't have joke about it with Sharad. Fine he did that as well, and drugged her drink... He might have just wanted to stop her from going to her Choti maa, but when Sharad came up to him to tell him about what he had done to Mukti, he supported Sharad. And thats where he did ruin her life. Every time he supports Sharad, he drives another nail into her coffin. He accused her of being a gold-digger, knowing very well that she's nothing of that sorts, he ruined her reputation, implying that she way have slept arnd with N number of guys, despite knowing the fact that he was her first. He systematically destroyed all evidence that she was so painstakingly trying collect. Did he have any misgivings as to what she would do next? He cost her her relations with the Basu's, branded her a slut and a schemer, and he's still keeping his mouth shut even after Sharad and gang have tried to kill her...

But of course Prem is not to blame. Its all Mukti's fault right?????
