Sanjit Bedi

Bedi joins Kasautii...

Post Nimmo…Sanjit will play Mr Bajaj's brother

Reena Thapar Kapoor

After lying low for some time, Sanjit Bedi has managed to get his career rolling. Post Nimmo… the actor has been roped in to act in another Balaji show, Kasautii Zindagi Kay.

The buzz is that Sanjit is Ekta Kapoor's latest blue-eyed boy. "Well, you will have to confirm that with Ekta. All I know is that I'm extremely happy working with her team. I'm a fussy guy but the way they take care of me is commendable," says Bedi.

As for his stint with Kasautii… he says, "It's true that I've started shooting for Kasautii... and I'm really excited about it. In the show I play Mahesh Bajaj, Ronit Roy aka Rishab Babaj's brother, who is a lawyer by profession." Incidentally, it is the character which was earlier played by Amarr Upadhayay.

Will it be his comeback on TV? He says, "I've always been around, doing TV shows and films, so where is the question of making a comeback? I'm an actor who enjoys experimenting with different media."

Besides, Nimmo... and Kasautii… he is also shooting non-stop for Ravi Chopra's magnum opus Virasat.

How does he handle the stress of working for three shows at a time? "You win half the battle when you manage your time well," he says. "Not only do I honour my professional commitments, I also give time to my wife, family and friends."
