Kasautii Zindagii Kay (Star Plus)
Kasautii started in October 2001 and ended a seven-year run after giving recognition to Shweta Tiwari, who became popular first as Prerna and then in real life as the battered wife of the unhinged Raja Chaudhary. Ronit Roy and Cezanne Khan also became popular with the show and their love triangle worked well. Urvashi Dholakia became famous as well with her grey portrayal of Komolika. The show ended in August.
