Chapter 34 She was right, Daksh drove towards Walia Mansion, it was feeling very nice to drive after so many years, felt like old times when he took out Anamika for drives, well Anamika, what is she doing now, Daksh went and stopped at the side lane of Walia Masion, the boundry wall was high like a fortress, but Daksh could see the french windows of the 1st floor, he saw Anamika, closing te windows, pulling the curtains, well she is getting ready for bed, now she will sleep with that man, she loves him, she says, how can she love him, is she Anamika, Anamika never loved anybody else except for him, she told him that many a times….lekin yeh keya she says she is Bani, Bani, Bani…how can it be Arushi is right, same pair of eyes, he hasn't seen Anamika for sometime but he cannot forget her eyes, infact he can draw them with closed eyes….aisa kaisa ho sakta hai…face can change but eyes? Daksh banged his head on the steering..

Bani looked at the clock it was around 1 in the night, Jai was yet to come up, she got out of the room and went down to the study.

Meera was bored, she kept herself confined in the room as much as possible when in the house, she is not in a hurry to look for a PG or hostel but at the same time she is intelligent enough to realise that Masi and Dadi do not like her presence much. Not that they are impolite to her but she is an outsider, who also works in the company. Masi and Dadi are not comfortable with the idea. Bani doesn't say anything, she is too busy running the house, clearly she is the mistress as Masi and Dadi are always keeping her involved regarding house matters, her sister Rano and Raashi the girl married to Ranveer are depended on her too, Bani knows she is the boss and is very confident of herself. What is her relationship with her husband, except for that one glimpse through the window Meera is yet to see them close, in public they are formal, she addresses him as Mr Walia and they rarely touch each other / interact directly, even during meals Bani sits between Aditya and Masi, half of the time joking with Aditya, except for Jigyasa everybody seems to be awed by her, keya hai is ladki me, thinks Meera, not exceptionaly beautiful, demure and soft, she doesn't look like a person who knows how to assert herself, lekin phirbhi everybody is doing Bani Bani…Meera heard footsteps, so can it be at this hour of the night, she softly opens the door to peep out…Bani is going downstiars…

Jai was sitting on the chair with with his head leaning on the back, as soon as he heard her entering, he sat straight, Bani came and sat next to him, she picked up his palm and held in with her both the hands…
Jai held her hand tightly….Bani put her head on his chest….
Bani patah nehi aaj mujhe khush hona chahiye yeha dukhi, as a father I should feel proud of my son, atleast now we have enough shares to feel very secured, lekin mujhe aisa kiyu lag rahe hai ki aaj Pushkar ne mujhe apna sara karz utar diya hai, that day I told him I am ashamed that he was my prodigy, aaj mujhe aisa kiyu lag raha hai and Pushkar has given me a befitting answer…
Mr Walia, Pushkar will remain your son for ever, how old were you when you picked up Pushkar from the streets of Mumbai, he was 12 and you were 24 hardly old enough to be his father, but you treated him like your own son, Pushkar is a good man, he will never forget that and he may fetch you the most costliest item on this earth but he can never repay your loan, the humanity and the strength you gave him to stand on his two feet but as a father you must feel proud of him, he could have made so much money from these shares atleast, leking uska dimag nehi ghum gaya, he did what a son should do for the family…

Yes Mr Walia, I think I know I am right, aapka beta ko toh phirbhi apne ghalati ka yehsas hai, lekin meri beti, meri Pia jisko mai didi aur ma ka pyar eksaath diya tha, patah nehi whether she thinks about us, uske liye kitna parishan hu mai, raat ko achanak need tut jati hai, thinking about her, the worse possible outcome, I feel she has done this purposely, mujhe parishan rakhna chahati hai, lekin afterwards I feel why should I worry, keya faida lekin yeh dil hai na manta hi nehi…
Chalo Bani sone chalte hai, leaning on to each other, Jai and Bani climb the stairs to go upto their room. Meera closes the door softly, well Jigyasa is not too fond of Bani, she has to use her charm with Jigyasa…Jigyasa may like to have a sympathiser on her side.

Nachiket went inside one of the boutiques owned by him, he went through the order book, looked at the display, the gift items displayed, surely Anu has an eye for design, she is not only manufacturing some items but getting them sourced from different parts of the world. She is using Walia industries contacts, he had seen some reluctance on Rohit's part but now Rohit is also enjoying the work, if he had any apprehensions they were soon disappearing. Nachiket helps a couple of customers to chose with their buys, helps them to chose an appropriate bouquet and gift, his mobile rings….ha Raashi, yes I remember, ha ha sab ho jayega and as decided I will reach there in time….everything is ready from my side, what about you and and Rano…o.k. yes see you then tonight…
Nachiket came out of his shop, as he walked towards the car park he passed a coffee bar, through its wall he noticed Jigyasa and Arushi sitting and chatting….Jigyasa and Arushi, what an unusual combination, Nachiket stopped…

Raashi stepped back, the model opened her eyes, she sat up to look into the mirror, Vijay who was applying makeup on another model watched her reaction…the model inspected herself on the mirror, well not bad, you said you were a fresher, well I must say you have done better than most professional.
Raashi gave a tentative smile, she murmurred her thanks, the model turned towards her, you are welcome, I honestly mean my words, oh I know I have been in the industry for the last 5 years and have put myself under famous and not so famous makeup artists, incase you are not thinking of an career option, think about it, you have a future…
Raashi beamed, she looked towards Vijay, Vijay showed her a thumbs up sign, as the girl got up and moved away another model came and sat in her place, Vijay came across with to study the face of the new girl, well Raashi I will no longer instruct you, you do on your own but I must say you are doing wonderfully well, thank go you came with me…

Bani and Rano sat in the Randheria Mansion waiting for Suraj Randheria to come down, he was busy with his puja and it will be sometime before he comes down as informed by his family….Daksh was sitting opposite them twindling his thumbs…he was now afraid of Bani specially after the day she kicked him where it hurts the most….
Bani goes and sits next to Daksh, Daksh becomes stiff…
Dekho Daksh, I have told you many a times that I am Bani, she is my yonger sister Rano and we have grown up together, I am not your Anamika, even if I was your Anamika I have moved on so should you, I have a family now whom I love, you should also move on for a family who love you, there are so many couples in this world whose love have not culminated, you have heard about them like Romeo –Juliet, Heer-Ranja, Daksh-Anamika…

Rano looked at the clock it was 1130 in the night, no sign of Sahil still, pata nehi how long he will take, he has got some theatre friends who are putting up a show in few days, Sahil spends his evening attending their reharsaals, Rano doesn't stop him, after all he too needs some space of his own, lekin today is a special day and he should come back now otherwise…
Rano settles down on the bed taking the day's newspapers, going through the business page, after 15 minutes or so Sahil enters…

It was well past midnight a car quietly came and stood in front of Walia Mansion, the dark glass was rolled down, security with a torchlight flashed it on the driver, woh aap, maine socha woh pagal, he opened the gate...
In the darkness of the night, 2/3 persons came out, opened the car and carried some goods inside...
