Tiny,

Well said. It is only fiction but it is unpalatable fiction. If they had made the leap a few years it may have been digestable, but 16 years with the 'animal in human avatar'(don't know who coined it but it is an apt name for Meera)enjoying a happy life - raising the children she helped to murder and that too tried to murder their mother; living with Jai Walia, sleeping with him all in all enjoying the prime of her life.

Meera going to jail for 14 years as that is the amount of capital punishment is nothing compared to the loss that Bani and her children suffered. I won't include Jai Walia because he has had his head buried in the sand most of his adult life where his personal life is concerned - so am not sure if he has suffered any losses (just my POV).

There is no punishment - especially the cartoonish punishment the destructives mete out - ala rotten tamatar - that Meera 🤢 could suffer that would make up for all the time Bani and her children lost with each other.

Tin,
You are right, both Jai and Bani have lost a lot. Their kids too!! But what to do, sometimes, destiny is the culprit, even more than the duffers themselves! But, knowing Bani, she will not let the big things she lost in life stop her from punishing Meera. Of course sending Meera to jail will give relief to Bani and Jai. Its the closure they need for the death of their twins!

As for Jai, of course, its his Balaji birthright! He will be full of guilt. But, hopefully, the current JB are mature and don't let the past bitterness spoil whatever they have left together!

At the end of the day, its Ekta. If she can make Prerna and Anurag unite as ghosts and look young and full of love and joy, perhaps she can work a miracle with JB too!! 😆

yeah I feel the same... only if the leap was for 1 or 2 years... but not 16 years... after all Meera has lived her life... what's the point of punishing her now... ... she wanted JW both physically and emotionally ... and she has him... JW has slept with a killer for 22 years... the thought itself is so sickening... 🤢 ... and bani despite being innocent couldn't raise her own children ...lost 16 long precious years of her life living away from her kids.... I have this feeling they will show JM kid ... I'm guessing a son... 🤢 ... and it will get more grosser... wish they never had taken this big generation leap...

There is no apt punishment for that hypocrite Meera. Just as Jigyasa going to jail for 16-17 years, does not undo the damage she has done to her brother, in the same way Meera going to jail does not undo the damage she did. How can she claim to love Jai and claim to do all this to get Jai. She took away his biggest joy, KW and AW, without flinching. Yet Bani with her true love and gentle nature, despite having been kicked out ruthlessly, came back and restored and regifted him his joy by giving birth to and bringing back Ganga and Krishna (and Atharva wherever he is) into his life. Giving him dahi-shakar pretending to support and respect his feeling yuuuuggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh. Go spend a moment with woman I killed. I am going to bless the occasion with dahi-shakar!!! Even when she is exposed, she will not repent or be sorry but she will fight. She has enjoyed 22 years of luxury -- there is no punishment whatsoever that is befitting this womans evilness. Going to jail is too light a punishment for her.
