Ram Kapoor isn't Mr Popular anymore

Ram Kapoor who rules the TV industry as Jai Walia in Kasamh Se for the past few months seems to be losing his hold.


The TRPs of the show are headed downwards. In television industry less TRPs mean even less popularity for the actor. So the once appealing suave businessman seems to be out of favour. But we can't blame it on the TRPs alone. Ram has been putting on a lot of weight recently, while competitors
like Ronit Roy have become fitter. Wonder if Ram should participate in some dance show to knock of those extra kilos. That way he can lose some weight and become popular once again.

Even though I like Ram Kapoor, I do agree with the article about his weight. I dont mean to be mean and I'm not judging him on his looks or whatever....coz personally I think he is very handsome....but he has put on a lot of weight. Being the lead of the show, he needs to do something to lose it before he loses his charm. And the lead actresses, both Bani and now Meera, look small with him.

This reminds me of Kumkum/Juhi from the serial Kumkum...she is really pretty....but just because she has put on sooo much weight, she doesn't look the same as before. And Sumit/Hussain looks younger in comparison to her. Well, this is just my opinion...no offence to RK's fans 😊 !

I really don't understand the need for comparison and the forever habit of pointing out about his health. Doesn't the reporter knows that the story and the TRPs of the show has nothing to do with it!! otherwise why aren't all the other shows shown across all channels are fighting for the top position, given that their male leads are leaner? A very disgusting thought I must say....the point can be put in other manner...with some gentleness!

i agree many of us give a damn abt his weight, but he should be careful , bcoz overweight ppl suffer from many diseases, i addored him, when the show had just started, some where in between he lost track of maintaining his figure and build....he really shud take out some time to work out....if not for the fans, then for his own health

he really needs to lose some weight and as far as popularity and trp, i think TRPs r not decreasing because of his weight but main reason is KS is going on without a storyline for more than a year now and its his and PD popularity that show can be stretched so far. TRPs will shoot if once ZT and BT really comes up with a story for KS

First of all, i want to whack the reporter with an danda to give this person some sense, maybe then they will open their eyes.

TRP is decreasing because of his weight that bs. It decreased since 06, since pia slept with her jiju in dubai.
Its because of KS storyline, where they have made mockery of religion, relationship, marriages, you name it. Ks is not safe for teenagers or even adults.

Some of the viewers are watching the KS because of RK and his brilliant acting. WHen ks is over RK will take care of his health, the camera in ks is giving different angels that make him chubbier then what you see on tv.

I don't agree with this reporter.... Ram's weight has nothing to do with the TRP... the TRP has dropped becasue of their pathetic storyline... and even after the leap if they carry of showing the useless Meera track the TRP will go further down the drain...
