Morning rays penetrated through the enormous master bedroom of Jai and Bani Walia, as he his hands felt for the warmth body of his sleeping wife but felt nothing instead of her.
When he looked up and saw the digital alarm that was on her side, it read 6:30am what is she doing up? He wondered to himself. Since last week, his wife had been keeping an distance from him, wherever he tried to get close, she will make an excuse, and that's why he planned to take her out just the two of them without the boys.
After the dinner, to their walk at the beach, he observed she was lost in her thoughts, instead of her chattering self
Hearing the noise coming from the door, he pretended to sleep, and see what his wife was up to early this morning.
Placing the tray inside the small coffee table, she slowly opened the French doors, that lead to the balcony outside. Inhaling the morning air, she glanced over her shoulder and saw her husband sleeping peacefully just like the junior versions of her son, rolled over his stomach and throwing off all the comforters.
When will father and sons will learn to stop throwing the comforters and blankets away. She shook her head, and went to pick up the comforter and place it on Jai, and she placed an soft kiss on his forehead, as she was leaving she felt something gripping her arm.
"Jai, you are wake?" She looked surprised as her eyes grew big.
"Of course, I am Bani, since my cuddling person is missing, and I don't want to cuddle this pillow.
"Pillows are soft." She tried to hide her smile.
"But not as soft as you", with his thumb he started making small circles.
"Jai let go of my hands, I have to go outside and read." The truth was she was trying to avoid him.
"Read another time, its to early for reading, come to bed and give me company." He patted the empty space for her.
"The boys are away, and I can read without the disturbance."
"True the boys are way we can share sweet moments Bani please seat", as he moved over to her side, and made room for her, making her seat next to her.
Hmm, so care to tell me, why have you been avoiding me since yesterday and for past few weeks? He blew hot air breath in her breath.
"I am not avoiding you."
"Liar", as he nuzzled her neck, and holed her hands from back of her.
"Jai you should stop, I have to make breakfast."
"I will help you make breakfast."
"Jai, I need to tell you something, and its really important."
"Talk I am listening."
"Last week, I went to my gynecologist for my yearly appointment."
"Yes I remember"
Well Dr. Mathur ran some test, as I told her get sure of the result.
"What result?"

There was no blank expression, and she turned around to face her husband, who mouth was little opened.
"Is this some sort of an early April Fool jokes?" He asked, looking for an expression on her face.
"No", she shook her head and got up the bed, and made her way outside the balcony for some fresh air.
Jai, caught up with her, and slowly turned her around.
"Bani, tell me this is an joke."
"Jai, its not an joke, the test that Dr. Mathur, ran an test that shows I am pregnant."
How did this happen? She gave him an question look. "I know how," mentally cursing him self, but how long are you?
Two months He ran his hands through his messy hair.
So the Baby was convinced around December, dam her and dam him, he thought to himself. Why couldn't he refuse his wife seductions, the perfumes, the candlelight's in the room, especially those short silky negligees that made him act like a teenager and loose his self control. Or maybe it was the time when she was washing the landcruiser, and wearing an old pair of shorts that she found in the attic, and it fit her, showing her long smooth legs, and both of them having an watertight while washing the vehicles, and after that taking an wonderful shower together, as the kids were away at grandparents house.
"Jai" her voice brought him back to the present.
"Bani I don't want you to have this baby?"
"Why?" She folded her arms across her chest.
"Because you are past the stage of giving birth."
"Excuse me?" She loved him, but she felt like smacking his head, is her husband just calling her old, she thought to herself.
Jai for that ridiculous reasons, I am not going to abort our child, you will and the family will have to accept this baby, she felt very protective over an seed that was growing inside her stomach. She got up and made her way inside.
"Farhan Khan gave birth too triplets at the age of 43 and I am not even in my 40s." Giving her husband an proof.
"I don't care about Farhan Khan or any other people who give birth, I can about my wife God damit" As he swore under his breath. "The safest age for women to give birth is in their 20s and last age is 35.
"Jai lots of woman have given births in their late thirty's, whether you liked it or not in 7months we are going to have another child, and our sons are going to have an sibling. "
"I don't want to loose you" Said an soft voice behind Bani.
He was afraid of loosing his maid to iron his clothes, to make his and his son dinner and breakfast, someone to cook.
"Turning her self around, Jai you are still going to have your personal maid to pick up your shoes, to cook for you, to clean the house, garden, do the errands, go grocery shopping and…
"Bani, I am not talking about that I don't want to loose you." His back was facing her, as his hand gripped the railing.
"Jai…touching his shoulder, you will still have me and I will be still able to do all the cores."

"Turning himself around, I don't want to loose you Bani, I can't live with you", his eyes showed an emotions that was of an man who was afraid of loosing.
"Then it drawn to her, he was afraid of loosing her in childbirth. Jai I won't die in childbirth assured her husband, by taking her hands in his.
"What evidence do you have that you won't die in childbirth"
"I can ask Dr. Mathur to give you written document, and report paper" She smiled
"It's not funny Bani, here I am scared to death in loosing you and you talking about report papers."
Well, I am going to die, I am going to be with you until our 50th Wedding Anniversary till death do us part.
"But what if the child doesn't survive Bani then what?" As he recalled her two miscarriage which made his wife life an living hell as she was drained out both physically and emotionally, and he felt like crap because he couldn't say or make anything to make her feel better.
An moment of silence passed through them.
Bani closed her eyes and remembered her miscarriages as tears were fighting in them, were she had given hopes of carrying her and Jai's own child. After two years they adopted Ayush who was six months old and year later Amitesh was born and couple years after him Atharva came. She and Jai were blessed to have three wonderful sons after her two miscarriages.
"Jai, I will make sure that Baby and I are both safe, and nothing happens to both of us during this 7months and God won't be cruel and take me away from my loving family. "
She was fighting back her tears and meant the eyes of her husband, who just gave her an hug. Hoping everything will be good and wonderful in the months to come.
