?Mujhe yeh season bilkul pasand nahi?..Aaaaaa?..chhhiiiii? Jay Walia mumbled in anger while wiping his red nose with his handkerchief for the umpteenth time in the morning. Putting the handkerchief back in his pockets, he again concentrated in his file. He felt weak, his eyes watery, nose itching, throat itching??he loosened his tie. Bani entered the room saying something to him as she approached him. Jay felt like he will be sneezing again so he raised a hand to stop Bani from coming forward. Not understanding what he indicated Bani asked, ?Kya hua?? He didn?t sneeze?.which meant another cause of irritation!!!! Once we know we are about to sneeze then if suddenly it disappears?we get angry and for Jay Walia?that comes faster. ?Kya hai? Main tumhe rukne ko bol raha tha na!? Jay made an angry face. Surprised by his sudden outburst to which Bani was quite used to in her two years of marriage she answered back, ?Okay baba sorry?.magar hua kya?? ?Aaaaa?chhhhiiiiii? Jay sneezed again. Putting back his handkerchief he shouted, ?Hoga kya? Sardi-zukam?gale ka dard, sard dard?isiliye mujhe ye mausam bilkul pasand nahi.?
He sat down on the bed to wear his shoes. Bani sat beside him and after checking his temperature with her hands, she bent down to free his hands from his shoes. ?Kya kar rahi ho Bani?? he sounded disturbed. ?Kuch nahi?.bas apke joote utar ke rakh rahi hoon kyunki aaj aap office nahi jayenge.? Bani continued her work. ?Office nahi jayenge? Matlab?? Jay was in no mood for any guessing game. ?Aapko thoda aaram karna chahiye ?.jaldi se change karlijiye. Main aapka khana upar lati hoon?aur haan mujhe koi behes nahi karni aapse is bare mein.? Bani acted like the boss. Jay knew arguing with Bani at that point was fruitless. Even he was just thinking of not going to office in his sub conscious mind but just felt the need to have an assurance from someone else too. Now he had it. Bani?s orders meant strict orders. He changed his clothes and rested on his bed. While he was busy making calls in his office informing of his absence and the work that needed to be done, Bani entered the room with a glass full of milk and some food. Jay saw her coming but seeing the glass of milk his mood worsened. Bani sat on the edge of the bed waiting for him to end the call. Seeing him not ending the call she mouthed, ?Doodh thanda ho jayega.? He nodded but continued speaking on the phone. She stared in such a way at him that unnerved him. While placing the receiver back, he thought This little woman can be so bossy at times!
He took the plate from her hands and ate away the food as slowly as possible. His only plan was to make the milk go cold so that he need not drink that liquid which he disliked since his childhood. When Bani forwarded the glass towards him, he saw smokes still coming out of it. He made a face realizing that the milk was still hot. Wondering how it could be possible for it to be hot for such a long time, Bani seemed to read his mind. ?Wo maine doodh kuch zyada hi garam kar diya tha.? she grinned looking in his eyes. Sluggishly he took the glass from her hands and drank the milk as if it was something inedible. Bani kept on looking at him as he also looked at her. Hardly had he finished half glass, he forwarded it towards Bani. ?Ye kya? Pura peena padega!? Bani frowned. Jay held the glass on her lips, pushing it to make her drink. As she started drinking the rest of the milk involuntarily, Jay said in his cold affected voice, ?Achha nahi lagta main saara doodh pee jaoon aur tum dekhti raho.? Moving away the glass from her mouth after it got empty Jay gave an inwardly smile. He thought Bach gaya. Bani fumed, ?Waah jab doodh peene ki baari aayi tab mera khayal aaya aapko, khaneke waqt to nahi aaya!? Jay immediately looked at his plate and found one sprouted gram left on it. He picked it and held in front of Bani. She pushed away his hand and left taking away the plate and glass. When she reached the door, Jay started humming

Bani looked down on her Sari and noticed that indeed it was red colored. She turned to find Jay averting his gaze from her just at the instant when she turned. She left and came back a minute later. Jay was well beneath the quilt, enjoying watching Television. Winter, warmth of the quilt and no work to do?that made a perfect combination. Bani came in front of him and held a spoonful of some medicine. He kept looking at the content of the spoon. ?Mooh kholiye? Bani ordered. ?Kya hai yeh?? Jay feigned ignorance. ?Whisky! Ab jaldi se mooh kholiye aur isey pee lijiye? Bani was getting impatient. ?Bani I?ll be fine?mujhe dawai nahi peeni? Jay tried to convince her. ?Dekhiye aap mujhe gussa mat dilaiye. Mujhe aur bhi bahut kaam hai. Aur agar aap dawai nahi peeyenge toh theek kaise honge?? Bani?s face was getting redder. ?Aise ghoorna band kijiye aur pijiye.? Bani calmed down a bit seeing Jay admiring her.
Closing his nose, Jay let the medicine travel down his throat but as soon as he released his nose he could feel the taste. ?Yuck! Chhhiiiiii?.kitni bekar dawai hai?.? Jay looked at Bani accusingly. Bani turned to leave and said, ?Ab aap aaram kijiye, main chalti hoon.? Jay caught her wrist and requested with a sweet smile, ?Mere paas baitho na.? Although they were married for the past two years yet whenever Jay acted like this with her, butterflies used to appear in her stomach. ?Mujhe kaam hai?chchodiye?.? Bani didn?t turn to face him feeling shy. Jay refused to let go of her wrist while she kept on arguing that she had work to do not even looking at him for once. Jay again felt like he was about to sneeze. Aaaaaaachhhhhiiiii?..Bani got freed. Jay hit the bed with his fist in disappointment. Soon his disappointment was replaced with incessant sneezing. Finally he fell asleep.
Jay woke up during lunch hours after Bani shook him relentlessly. He was making demands of eating this and that giving the excuse of him being unwell. Bani was tired fulfilling his demands while the butler Tony prayed to God not to let Sir stay this long at home anyday, poor butler was tired too. When Bani went to give him the medicines after lunch, he refused to take them saying that they were too bitter. He had ordered other medicine. Bani thought it to be meaningless to fight with him and let him have whichever medicine he liked till the time he was taking them.
In the evening, Jay was coughing too much, sneezing too much, his face was swollen, nose was redder than morning?..Bani said, ?Kuch lete kyun nahi?? Jay was angry with her for something. He retorted, ?Le to raha hoon? and went in his room. Bani sensed that he was upset due to something so she followed him to their room. She began organizing things in the cupboard and kept a watch on his movements. One hour passed, he was only changing the TV channels but not watching any one of them. ?Kya hua?? Bani pressed with concern. ?Kuch nahi tum jo kar rahi ho karo? Jay was quick in answering her back. Bani thought Uff!! Ye aur inka gussa. Koi aur inki biwi hoti to abhi tak bhaag gayi hoti?main hi pagal hoon jo sab seh leti hoon. Waise gusse mein kabhi kabhi bahut Sweet lagte hain?jaise abhi. Bani chuckled at the thought. Jay raised an eyebrow and then shot her an angry look. Bani suppressed her laughter and sat beside him.
Smoothening his hairs she asked, ?Naraaz hain?? Jay seriously replied, ?Nahi.? Iska matlab naraaz hain..hey bhagwaan ab kya ho gaya!!! Bani thought. Jay coughed once again. Bani complained, ?Kuch lete kyun nahi?? Jay got terribly angry. ?Tum to bas meri dawai ke peech padi ho?.ghar par rok liya?subah se akele akele..kamre mein time pass kar raha hoon?ye nahi ke kabhi aake do-chaar baatein hi kar lo. Bas tumhe ek kaam aur doosra meri dawai hi yaad rehte hain.. mera chahe kuch bhi ho.? Bani was hurt due to the way he shouted at her. Agreed that she didn?t spend time with him but she cared for him which he didn?t seem to believe at that moment. Jay looked at her from the corner of his eyes and immediately knew he had hurt her.
As Bani kept silent thinking of what to do next, whether to talk to him about random things or let his anger cool down, Jay got up and went downstairs. Bani also followed him and saw him taking out a bottle of water from the refrigerator and drinking from it. Jay turned and saw Bani standing behind him, hands on hips. ?Ye kya ho raha hai? Bani enquired. Jay lost words to explain. How much angry he was with her, he knew he was doing wrong by not taking medicines at all and even having chilled water throughout the day for which she was supposed to be angry with him. ?Subah se main aapke liye pareshaan ho rahi hoon aur aap hain ke?.? Bani was fuming. ?Meri to koi baat sunni hi nahi hai aapko.? Bani looked disappointed. ?Tum kuch sunane hi kab aayi?? Jay complained in a low voice. ?Iska matlab kya aap apna khayal bhi nahi rakhenge? Main jab chod ke chali jaoongi tab dekhna?meri har baat yaad karenge.? Bani?s voice shook. ?Okay I am sorry! Aur haan mujhe chod ke jane ki baat kabhi sochna bhi mat.? Jay held his ears and looked at her expectantly.
Bani didn?t reply and moved around the house to finish her work. Jay followed her everywhere and blocked her way. He even followed her to the kitchen from where Bani pushed him out to prevent herself from getting embarrassed in front of the servants. ?Kya kar rahe hain aap? Jaaiye aapko maaf kiya?Seriously aap kuch lete kyun nahi?? Bani laughed. Jay took her in his arms and said, ?Lo le liya?tumhe apni baahon mein?.Aaaaachiiiii.? Bani escaped. ?Ab to dawai leni hi padegi?.ye hamesha bhaag jati hai...is Aaachhiii ki wajah se?Aaaaaachhhhiiii.? Jay beat his forehead. They had a lovely dinner where Jay allowed Bani to be the boss deciding what he should eat.
After that Jay obliged to Bani?s every instruction?had medicine?.didn?t drink chilled water??.wore full sweater. Late at night Jay?s sleep was broken with some noise. He rubbed his eyes and looked for the source of the noise. Very close to him he could hear a faint sound of sneezing. He lifted himself up a bit from the bed to look at Bani who was actually sneezing. He wrapped his arms around her and whispered, ?Bani.? She just made a sound making him understand that she was listening to him. He whispered again, ?Bani?Kuch leti kyun nahi?? He burst into laughter as Bani took out the pillow below head and hit him mercilessly!!!!

Hello Friends?.I don?t know why I wrote it?.but I am posting it to mark it as my 2000th post on I-F?above all the thought just crossed my mind for a sweet JB relationship which should have been there in their marriage which the show purposefully never showed. This one is a dedication to some of the forum members?who give beautiful updates of their FFs but I?ve failed to comment on them lately. Hope they take this little time-pass material as a bribe?.and let me feel a little relieved!!! The title is taken from a very popular advertisement of a medicine for cold, during our childhood days. It is basically not a story?but more of sweet scene?.I think most of you wish to see JB like this.
