I am fine now and I am fine now. U know what I have my midterm exam on Wednesday and still I am giving u the update…. 😉 .
From here on the story goes forward to the second year of their life and the twist which I am talking about is in the next part 😃 . Stay tuned……… 😉
Anyway here goes the next part:
Part 13:
After that day everything was running smooth between them and also in the class. Bani was very famous in the class due to three reasons. One she was very friendly, she never had fights with anyone except harish who himself was a stupid so nobody cared. She helped everyone with kind heart and she was a gem in the C and Data Structures subject. The whole class was a fan of one sir who taught that subject. Everyone adored Surya Prakash sir like anything. The whole class agreed with him. He gave various assignments in which bani topped always due to her creative mind. She was true gem after the sir. In the labs, though she was the student, everyone called her for doubts and the execution of their programs. Even sir always asked her first and then the class. She even taught a concept in the class which sir just asked her to do. She prepared her won notes and taught the whole class. Everyone was highly impressed by her. She got 20/20 in all the internals except one. In one internal, she mistook one question to be another and wrote the wrong answer. She only got 16 in that. Since she was sensitive, she cried for that. Everyone was shocked for that. But sir was very impressed since that shows her dedication for that subject and language. Her running notes was the best anyone could ask for.
Before exams, they took the xeror of her notes and made her stand on the dais and make her give them a review the whole subject which she did happily. The concepts she taught were the ones given in the exams and everyone scored good marks in that. The class average was highest compared with the other 4 branches. This subject was common for all the engineering groups. She was the topper in this subject for the whole college. Hence every lecturer adored bani like anything. Even the HOD mam always used to praise her. She wrote her notes in the most perfect way possible including the dates. Once she was called by the lectures one by one. She was surprised since she didn't knew the reason. She was asked to bring her notes' along. The reason was they had to submit their teaching plan to the principal which neither of them prepared. They neither knew the dates nor the concept taught on that day. Hence she was called and she narrated each lecturer the date as well as the concept taught on that day. Hence they all adored bani. That was reason that when ever they wanted to bunk the class, she was pushed forward. In this was she was very famous in the whole college.
Soon December approached and the annual games were being conducted. Since bani was a player, she participated in the throwball game along with swetha. They both participated in the ECE team and they also won the game. Madhu participated in the caroms and got the second prize. Swetha also participated in the chess game and got the first prize. Jai hoped to participate in the cricket team but he didn't get a chance since seniors were dominating . But of their classmate has gotten a chance to play in the team since his elder brother was his direct senior. So everyone in the class went to see the game. Girls were sitting under some tree and boys were sitting on the dais.
Soon the match started which was in between ECE and BIOTECH. The whole ground is in a roar as boys were shouting different slogans whenever their team hit a six or four or took a wicket. Generally they shouted like, "east or west ece is the best", or "coco-cola pepsi, ece sexy" 😆 . Well these are just some slogans. But always girls and boys shout a lot with many slogans and often just shout something like making a roar. It was the best fun they could have since cricket was the boys' favorite game. They go crazy about that game. Well when ECE started batting, they played well and managed to get some fours. Whenever they hit four, they shouted like "uh ha…uh haa…." 😆 😆 😆 . It was common for the matches. At the end of the game ECE won by 4 runs to biotech. Well next day, it was CSE Vs. EEE. In which the college pride team CSE won. For the finals, it was ECE and CSE. Well ECE boys tried but they couldn't win over CSE. In this way, in the first year, ECE won may winning and runners trophy. Hence this lead to the winning of the roll over champion's trophy to ECE 👏 . They were very happy for that.
Well even their days of ragging were finished as they had their fresher's party. Well on that day, they had two busses in which one was filled by junior girls and seniors and the other by junior boys and seniors. Even they had some junior boys in girls bus one of which was jai , anand and karthik. Well the seniors made all the girls dance one by one since this was the last few hours of ragging. But some how bani managed to escape from the seniors saying some excuse. After traveling one and a half hour by bus, they reached their destination. They were all seated with girls in the front and boys at the back of them. Juniors were seated at one place and seniors at the other half. Later they all mingled. The very first round was of introduction where they have to tell their name background and their role models. It happened according to the roll numbers.
Hence jai's chance was 5th and bani's 10th. Well jai's role model was his father while bani's was both Mother Teresa and her pa. after the introduction round, seniors picked some girls and some boys for the round of Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher. They ask some non-veg questions over their and they have to answer it in front of everyone. In between that, they had rose round. Everyone has to buy 3 roses which costs 300Rs/- and give them to their classmates. While purchasing the roses, they wrote their names and according to that, they gave their roses. Madhu and bani were tensed as to whom they should give their roses which doesn't create problems for them later. They all planned to give it to Chari 😉 , a very nice person who has respect for girls. He is a son of a pundit and hence he also studies the mantras and chantings in the temples and for the occasions. They all decided that it was safe it they would give them. When bani's turn came, they all started shouting different names for her. One was DC, then C and DS and the other was passing guide etc etc….they were all having fun shouting names for her. While bani was embarrassed 😳 and was laughing 😊 . She gave her first rose to karthik and the other two to chari. Next was karthik's chance and he gave all the three roses to bani. Madhu gave all the 3 to chari and so did swetha. Her other two batch mates kiran who were roll no 11 and 12 gave all the 3 roses to bani.
And soon in this way, they gave all their roses and were watching the contest of mr fresher and miss fresher. At the lunch time, everyone mingled and enjoyed the ice creams. They fed to each other and chatted for a long time. From then they had some performances by seniors and then they were all dragged to disco. While boys were eagerly waiting for this, the girls sat quietly at the corner since they weren't used for this. Their gang came and all dragged bani to the center of the floor and started dancing around her. Bani was like " kaha phas gayi… 😆 ."..They all weren't leaving her and were trying to make her dance. She came and stood there and clapped and encouraged them to dance and managed to get away from them. But again they dragged her. Once jai, then vinod, then varun and then rahul….every one dragged her to the dance floor and was she was trying hard to escape 😆 . At the end her left hand was aching since they dragged her with that force. But she could do nothing about that and tried all her ways to escape from them 😉 😉 😉 .
Hence they all circled her and started to dance around her. Bani was like "oh god… 😉 .". In between the disco, they announced akhila and chari as the mr and miss freshers. After the party was finished, they all got into the bus. Bani madhu and swetha had to divide since one bus was going in bani's direction and one in mahu's direction. So bani was alone in her bus. But soon varun, jai, vinod, rakesh joined her. First varun sat beside her and rest at the 3 seater. As the bus moved, rakesh and varun started telling ghost stories to bani which she was scared like hell . At one moment, she was about to cry when jai asked them to stop it. They again cracked some jokes which made her relaxed. Since the bus was going in reverse direction, first varun's stop came. Then jai came and sat beside her 😉 . They chatted for a while till bani's stop came. They had their good nights and both went to their homes.
Well the annual day for the college was on April 28th . But two days after that, both first and second batch had Lab external exams. So everyone came to the college and revised the experiments. Till evening they were done and all the girls wanted to go home. When they were about to go, one of the lecturer said that, this was the time they could enjoy and u r not gng to get these days again and again. He asked them to enjoy the day as there r college busses which will drop them to their houses. So bani, madhu called to their houses and took the permission. So all the girls again went back to the ground where the function was being conducted. When boys saw girls coming back, they all went to them and teased them about their going to homes 😆 . They had fun teasing them 😆 . Next they all sat beside each other and talked a lot. They cared less about the function and started having fun time with all of the them being together 😛 .
After some time, they all felt hungry and they knew they had free dinner coupons. Boys got all the coupons for the girls also and they went to the stalls. At the stalls, it was full with boys and hence girls were apprehensive to go there. Hence all boys managed to get in and supplied each of them with all the food 😛 . They were happy and all of them ate together. After that they had ice creams and they all had fun with that too taking each others and teasing them a lot. When jai was about to eat his ice cream, varun came and snatched his ice cream. Everyone laughed and continued to enjoy their ice creams. When jai again went to get an ice cream, he didn't get any. Bani felt bad for him and offered him her ice cream 😉 . At first he refused but on insistence from bani, he took hers 😉 . Finally they received their trophy's and these 3 were happy to get their first trophy's in their first year. They teased their gang about not having any trophy's and they r waste etc etc. Even bani teased jai for having none for which he just laughed and took it lite 😆 .
At the end everyone was happy and boarded their busses. Bani had anand in the same bus and madhu and swetha were on the same place. Vinod and jai also got into some random bus since there's was the first stop which happened to be the one where bani was. Varun was also in the same bus as his stop was 3 stops ahead of bani. So they all sat together and chatted for some time till jai's stop came. Jai and bani wished each other good night and go down of the bus to go to his home. Bani called her pa before she was about to reach her place and when she got down, he was already there and they went to their home. After reaching home, she excitedly narrated the whole day and then went to sleep. Next few days they were quite busy and as their final exams were approaching.
Their final exams were on May 18th and the first one was English. Bani birthday was on May 15th and she got many wishes from her friends including jai. But when on 17th night, one of her classmate kiran called bani to wish her birthday wishes in the midnight. Her pa lifted the phone and scolded him a lot. Since she studied a lot, bani woke up at 1 next day morning. When she got up, she got this shocking news of this call. He even called at 12 even the next morning and he got the scolding from her pa. Bani was shocked and talked to madhu about that. Well they decided that the next day, they would deal the matter. After the exam, madhu and bani went to karthik and jai and repeated the whole incident which they assured her to take care 😉 . After some time, kiran came and apologized to her. Well the matter was, they took him aside and did some tee-tee with him 😉 which resulted in him saying sorry for her and him deleting her number permanently. Bani was thankful to both of them and went away happily 😛 😛 😛 .
The rest of the exams also flew by fast and they all were happy that they got some holidays. They were in their second year now which they are seniors 😉 .
Hey friends, I tried. Whoa….this is so long…I made it up for the two weeks. Hope I didn't bore you. This was their journey from first year to second year. The first year results will come in second year.
