Party

Bani is standing and everyone is congratulating her.jai is staring at her intently.
Thinking she has not changed much. The same beautiful and simple bani. But she has become more feminine and sophisticated.
Bani notices him staring at her.she coulnot help but loose herself in the ocean deep eyes.she hated to admit that even today his one look made her heart skip a beat.
Jai just walks upto her without breaking the eye contact.
J: congratulations bani.
B: thankyou Mr. Walia.
J: do you mind if have a word with you.
B: sure.
They both excuse themselves and come to the sea-facing balcony.finally breaking the silence jai speaks.
J: how are you bani?
B: I am fine and u?
J (with a half smile): great.
B: to shaadi waadi ki ya bachelorhood bohot accha lag raha hai.trying to break the ice.
J (laughing): bohot doondha par tumhri jaisi koi mili nahi.and u?
Suddenly bani felt her heart ache.
B: well nahin ki.i was just busy with my work.
J: to kab tak ho India mein.
B: I guess hamesh keliye.i am setting up my fashion house here with my friend rano.
J: that's great.congratulations.
B: thanx
J: to apne purane ghar mein hi ho.
B: ya,kal hi ghar ka renovation khatam hua.bas kal shift karma hain.
J: good.need any help then tell me.here is my card.
B: thanx.so much has changed jai,now we need cards to remember our phone numbers.here's mine.
J could clearly see the pain in her eyes.even he was going through the same.
J: kuch nahi badla bani.mein aaj bhi whon khada hoon.
They have an eye-lock. Before they could continue rano came to call bani inside as the dinner was being served.


P.S.:next part it will be over and done.lets if they meet or not.keep guessing.

PART 6

27th September,2011

Bani's deep sleep was broken by the constant ringing of the doorbell.bani lazily opened the door to find flouriest with a bouquet of white lilies.
Bani read the card which said:
27 BEAUTIFUL LILIES FOR THE 27 BEAUTIFUL YEARS OF YOUR LIFE.
I HOPE THEIR FRAGNANCE WILL FILL UP YOUR COMING YEARS WITH HAPPINESS AND LOVE.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

JAI

Bani almost broke down crying it.
All the years she tried to forget jai but she ended up loving him more.how she wished she could go back to him.
Just then her cell rang.
Composing herself.
B: hello
J: happy birthday!!bani.
B: thanx jai.the lilies are beautiful.
J: just like you.
Bani blushed unknowingly on his comment.
J: ummm if you donot mind can we have dinner tonight.its okay if you have other plans.
B: sure jai.
J: great. I will pick you up at 8 then.
B: I will be ready.

8.00 p.m.

In the car

The car was enveloped with silence.no one spoke a word till they reached their destination.
Dinner was quite and pleasant.
And they decided to have a walk on the beach.

Suddenly
B: did you did you ever remember me jai?
J: only once.
B (disappointed) : oh!!
J: only when I breathed. [I know it is the DEVDAS dialogue but I had to include this yaar that's the most romantic dialogue I have ever heard]

Bani was too stunned to react. The sincierity in his words touched her heart.
Now she was on the verge of crying.
J: bani I …….i still love you and these 4 years have been hell.i know whatever happened but can't we.i mean can't we start afresh.i know.
Before he could continue.bani broke down crying and spontaneously hugged him.
J: ssshhhhhh… its okay bani.
B: I am sorry jai.i was stupid, idiot.i have really hurt you.
J: no bani it was not only your mistake.i was equally wrong bani.we were young and immature and took a decision in the heat of the moment.i was so consumed by my ambition that I could not see beyond it.i feel whatever happened has happened for the good.
These 4 years have taught us the importance of each other.now we will not make the same mistakes again.i value you even more and I love you even more.i am sorry bani.
B: I love u too jai.i love u too.
Jai breaks the hug and kneels down on his knees and takes out a beautiful solitaire ring
J: so Miss Bani dixit.will you make me the most luckiest man on earth by marrying me.and I promise never to forget your birthday again.
B (smiling as well as crying ) : yes. And this is the best birthday gift ever.
Jai puts the ring jai : perfect.
B: thanx jai.its beautiful.
They have an eye-lock as their EYES seemed to be more eloquent than words.
Jai slowly bended to kiss bani's lips.the kiss which began as a sweet gesture grew deeper and deeper as they kissed each other with all the pent up passion and desire………



JAI AND BANI HAPPILY LIVED EVER AFTER.
AND JAI NEVRE FORGOT BANI'S BIRTHDAY.
AND 1 AND YEARS LATER THEY HAD TWINS AND THEY NAMED THEM KRISHNA AND ATHARVA.


EPILOGUE.

"LOVE IS LIKE A PLANT WHICH HAS TO BE NURTURED WITH CARE.THE PLANT REQUIRES LIGHT,WATER AND SOIL TO GROW FULLY.IF ANY OF IT IS MISSING THE PLANT DIES.SIMILARLY LOVE HAS TO BE NURTURED WITH CARE,UNDERSTANDING AND ADJUSTMENT,THEN ONLY THE LOVE WILL GROW TO BECOME A TREE WITH STRONG ROOTS."

JAI AND BANI were lucky to get a second chance from life.
But everyone is not lucky.
Many times people break relationships in anger or depression.
But before making any decision just picture your life without that person and you will get your answer.
I wanted to end it in a different way [on a sad note],but I being such a positive and happy person I decided against it. And I personally love happy and fairy tale endings.
I know this was not a great piece of writing but I enjoyed writing it thoroughly. It was straight from my heart. i hope I was able to convey the underlying message quite equivocally.
I know my writing can improve by leaps and bounds and I promise something better next time.
Reading all your wonderful fanfics has really influenced me a lot, so any resemblance to any of your fanfics or writing style is absolutely coincidental and not deliberate.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL YOU GUYS FOR READING MY FANFIC AND POSTING YOUR COMMENTS.AND ALSO THANX TO THE SILENT READERS.
currently i am busy penning a fanfic for the autum contest.and after that i have my exams so i donot really know about my new fanfic.i have posted a short story"yhe lady in black",if you guys get time do read and comment.but if an idea comes i will surely write.
