I'm not sure how many of you have noticed but whenever someone who has worked with Balaji leaves their show, they never find the same stardom they did when they were a part of Balaji show. Do you know what I mean? Balaji makes each and every actor of their shows a household name. For example, Nausheen Ali Sardar who had become a household name with Kkusum pretty much has disappeared from the face of this earth ever since she left Kkusum.
Rajeev Khandewal is basically useless without Balaji attached to his name. He hasn't found the same face he did when he was with Balaji.
Iqbal Khan is the same story.
I mean, I can list names of actors who have left balaji to do other things and try out different shows, etc.. but never really got the same fame as they did with Balaji.
It is very true that Balaji has many strict policies as far as their actors and shows are concerned. They may not pay as much some of the other production houses but Balaji makes you a household name that people remember for a very long time to come! They give you the respect that no other production house gives. They give you the publicity that no other production house gives.
When you're a part of Balaji, you're not just any actor working with the production house, you become a part of their family.
No matter what some people say about Ekta, the truth is that she makes you who you are at the end of the day. She may have a temper but she takes care of you. She keeps you in her mind and offers you multiple shows. She knows whats best for her actors, she knows who would suit what character. I mean, I'm sure she's got many other things to do instead of knowing each of her actors personally, throwing parties for them and all.
I admire her very much because not only does she touch the issues that matter in our society but she also cares about her people. People may judge her because she repeats herself in many shows, etc... but the truth is, she gives us exactly what we want to see. We may get frustrated with watching same storylines or not having our couples together but if she had everyone together, then it would get sickening, their wouldn't be any suspense or love and hate we have for certain characters.
When she came on Koffee with Karan, she said somethign that touched my heart and made me admire her even more than ever before. She said something about its not about company growing but the people of company growing. (Something along those lines). The point is that, it isn't all about her. She really cares for the people who work for her and with her.
Really the whole point I'm trying to make here is that Will Roshni get the same stardom and fame that she did with Balaji? She became a household name as Pia Dixit with Kasamh Se. Will she be able to find something that will give her equally well stardom? Will she still be around after she leaves Balaji? (Sure she'll be around doing shows but will she still be on top?)
