Without Balaji...

I'm not sure how many of you have noticed but whenever someone who has worked with Balaji leaves their show, they never find the same stardom they did when they were a part of Balaji show. Do you know what I mean? Balaji makes each and every actor of their shows a household name. For example, Nausheen Ali Sardar who had become a household name with Kkusum pretty much has disappeared from the face of this earth ever since she left Kkusum.

Rajeev Khandewal is basically useless without Balaji attached to his name. He hasn't found the same face he did when he was with Balaji.

Iqbal Khan is the same story.

I mean, I can list names of actors who have left balaji to do other things and try out different shows, etc.. but never really got the same fame as they did with Balaji.

It is very true that Balaji has many strict policies as far as their actors and shows are concerned. They may not pay as much some of the other production houses but Balaji makes you a household name that people remember for a very long time to come! They give you the respect that no other production house gives. They give you the publicity that no other production house gives.

When you're a part of Balaji, you're not just any actor working with the production house, you become a part of their family.

No matter what some people say about Ekta, the truth is that she makes you who you are at the end of the day. She may have a temper but she takes care of you. She keeps you in her mind and offers you multiple shows. She knows whats best for her actors, she knows who would suit what character. I mean, I'm sure she's got many other things to do instead of knowing each of her actors personally, throwing parties for them and all.

I admire her very much because not only does she touch the issues that matter in our society but she also cares about her people. People may judge her because she repeats herself in many shows, etc... but the truth is, she gives us exactly what we want to see. We may get frustrated with watching same storylines or not having our couples together but if she had everyone together, then it would get sickening, their wouldn't be any suspense or love and hate we have for certain characters.

When she came on Koffee with Karan, she said somethign that touched my heart and made me admire her even more than ever before. She said something about its not about company growing but the people of company growing. (Something along those lines). The point is that, it isn't all about her. She really cares for the people who work for her and with her.

Really the whole point I'm trying to make here is that Will Roshni get the same stardom and fame that she did with Balaji? She became a household name as Pia Dixit with Kasamh Se. Will she be able to find something that will give her equally well stardom? Will she still be around after she leaves Balaji? (Sure she'll be around doing shows but will she still be on top?)

Anam,

It's hard to break a mould, whether it is BT or whether it's the small screen. You always need a mentor and good fortune to make it big.

The world is small and it's shrinking, I think if you an employee of a company, you should always leave with good will behind, it's going to hurt you if you pick fights with the employer. The word of the mouth or the old boy's network will hurt you, because they are bigger than you are.

So it is in the best interests of Roshni to leave with BT's consent and good will.

Personally, I feel that the actors should be able to leave for better opportunities. It's the labor law! It is not indentured labor, you can't chain an actor/actress to a particular show if there is no growth or challenges for that person. The growth can be money, fame, larger role, different role...whatever!

Roshni is better off as an anchor of a show, a model etc. This role in particular has been made so evil, that people associate her with Pia, even though she is an actress and hate her for it. Time to move, in my opinion.

Sheena,
I agree with you but my point was that why is it that without Balaji behind them, most actors don't find the same stardom they find when they're with the production house?

I definitely believe in leaving with good will and not bad mouthing anyone and especially not someone who has given you so much.

I think its a great decision on her part to want to do other things in her life and explore much more. I do wish her all the best with whatever she does and/or wherever she ends up being in her life.

I think some of the actors you mentioned did leave with bad feelings! I read some where about Rajeev K bad mouthing Ekta! I don't know about the others.

It is a thought to ponder, like you said!

Rajeev definitely kicked himself in the butt because he was doing so well but he decided to bad mouth Ekta and her creative team and said something along the lines off "they're all stupid they don't know what they're doing" and I think when you have someone like Ekta as your mentor and who has given you the fame you've got, that's the last thing you should be saying about her and her team.

Nausheen left Kkusum because she didn't feel right playing a mother to a 20 year old after the leap.

I do get what you mean and it is true but having said that i think personally it depends on individual i personally feel that iqbal is the only one that i can think of that will be sucessful at moment outside balaji ..rajeev is around but he leaves every serial so soon and never sticks to anything ..aamna is no where to be seen and whoever you mentioned from kksum no idea who it is but lead from koshishs done well not amazing but ok and a few side actors like sharad who was with his wife in show they both done ok and tara as well in saath phere

Rajeev Khandewal is basically useless without Balaji attached to his name. He hasn't found the same face he did when he was with Balaji. No comment😆

Iqbal Khan is the same story. well i think his new show might be ok and eventually go back to balaji

I mean, I can list names of actors who have left balaji to do other things and try out different shows, etc.. but never really got the same fame as they did with Balaji. nope that i agree especially leads for others its been a launch

It is very true that Balaji has many strict policies as far as their actors and shows are concerned. They give you the respect that no other production house gives. They give you the publicity that no other production house gives. yeh i think weighing up your option it is better i mean actors get paided pretty well at balaji to and balaji you know you will be noticed they tend to take new actors more so than other production houses i think since they have so many shows

When you're a part of Balaji, you're not just any actor working with the production house, you become a part of their family. 😆😆lol

I mean, I'm sure she's got many other things to do instead of knowing each of her actors personally, throwing parties for them and all. theres nothing wrong with a temper especially since she works all day and incharge of so many shows it must be stressful especially on top if people do not do their job properly......yeh most actors done lots of shows and she definetly loves her parties

I admire her very much because not only does she touch the issues that matter in our society but she also cares about her people. People may judge her because she repeats herself in many shows, etc... but the truth is, she gives us exactly what we want to see. I agree theres something that stands out about ektas show and as for admiring i think shes definetly a strong person to do what she does and as for society issue she does in a way thing is i dont think anyone makes shows thinking people are gonna watch them all so it does not matter i actually have not seen all of the shows only bits so really dont know how similar they are but i love ones i have seen👏

When she came on Koffee with Karan, she said somethign that touched my heart and made me admire her even more than ever before. She said something about its not about company growing but the people of company growing. (Something along those lines). The point is that, it isn't all about her. She really cares for the people who work for her and with her. yeh that shows what shes about !basically she wants people who want to make it big not just anyone i really admire her just because shes got temper does not make her bad she does care about actors and people which i respect and shes great business women as for her interviews i love them shes great! i even watched all her kwk and award shows lots of times 😆😆

Really the whole point I'm trying to make here is that Will Roshni get the same stardom and fame that she did with Balaji? She became a household name as Pia Dixit with Kasamh Se. Will she be able to find something that will give her equally well stardom? Will she still be around after she leaves Balaji? (Sure she'll be around doing shows but will she still be on top?) i do not know but guess she wants to do movies 😕and thinks she can do it on that...one thing i do know is that if i wanted to do serials and got into balaji then i definetly would not leave for another production house
