It was dinner time, but buaji did not bother to call Bani, she had seen Jai going upto her roomā¦she retired to bed after having hersā¦.

Roshni returned earlier then usual, she went into her bedroom, Jai was not back yet, she changed, tried calling his mobile but it was switched off, unusually late for a business dinner, maybe something really importantā¦she sighed and slipped into the covers

The vibration of the mobile woke Jai up, he automatically put his hand under the pillow and pressed the talk buttonā¦
Bani, finally I can make it, I will be there by late morning, can we meet please darlingā¦

Pushkar got puzzled hearing a male voice answeringā¦wrong no., he disconnected it promptly, then checked his outgoing call no., yes it was Bani's no. no doubt, lekin woh admi kaun and why is his voice sounding so sleepy and why did he answer Bani's phoneā¦

Bani got up with a start on hearing Jai's helloā¦
Her face turned red on seeing Jai gazing down at herā¦kaun tha, just to distract himā¦
Koi admi, he smiled at her, started tracing her lips and pulling her into his armsā¦

Our family Bani, aur iss me sochne ki keya baath hai, I think they were expecting something like this, it is about time too, don't you think soā¦
Bani smiled, her relationship with Pushkar developed while Pushkar was towards the end of his final year, and soon he left for his training and job, they spoke mainly on phone and since they were both shy in nature, physically they did not progress much except for few kisses, now with Jai Walia making love, Bani was overwhelmed, she was blown away by the physical ecstasy.

Roshni woke up and felt for Jai, she opened her eyes to notice that he is missing and his side is not looking slept in, she frowned, this has never happened before, if he was in town he always returned home no matter how late, she sat up, got her mobile and dialed Jai's no., it was still switched off, where can he be, then a thought crossed her mind, her face lost colour.

Pushkar was sitting with Bani in the caf, it was Sunday afternoon, family of all sizes and shapes where having lunch, children running aboutā¦.
Pushkar was speaking excitedly regarding his job, Bani told about hers, her experiences with the clients etcā¦
Bani jab buaji tumhe naukri ke liye allow kiya why don't you work in a better place / bigger placeā¦
This place is small Pushkar but very popular, I am getting a lot to learn, also I am working during the afternoon so that I can take care of Buaji afterwardsā¦.you know what I meanā¦
Pushkar looked at Bani minutely, something was wrong somewhere, he could not place what, yes though they are into the relationship just about a year back but he knew her for quite sometime, she was a open and friendly girl, it seems she is hiding something, dressed in traditional sari, very unlike her as she was always dressed in western outfits in college but he knew her Buaji was a very formidable traditional person, Bani looked quite different from what he had seen her, subdued and calm, not her bubbly selfā¦he tried to probe but Bani somehow managed to dodge his questions, she was also not talking about them any longer, preferring to stick to general conversation, their common friends etcā¦.
From time to time Bani kept on looking at her watch and after their food was over, Bani suddenly stood up, Pushkar abhi mujhe chalna chahiye, Mr, I mean ghar me aaj sab hai and they will be waiting for my returnā¦
By the way Bani, who was the man who answered my callā¦..
Oh there are so many people to answer calls Pushkar, I had forgotten my mobile in the hallā¦.
Pushkar frowned once again, no the reason was not unbelievable but Bani's expression wasā¦.
Pushkar tried to hold her hand as they were walking out of the restaurant, Bani somehow held backā¦.
Kaise jayogi Bani, auto bula duā¦.
Actually gari hai, Bani replied hesitantly, the driver must have seen Bani walking out of the Restaurant, he quickly brought the car, a Mercedes, got down to open the door for Baniā¦.Bani got in and waivedā¦.

Bani hated herself for not able to tell Pushkar the truthā¦keya bolti mai, ki mai Jai Walia ka dosri biwi huā¦after yesterday night it is so true, she still could not believe it but it was realityā¦when she went to meet Pushkar she wanted to tell him everything but seeing him face to face made it difficult, she did not know why, but she still could not say itā¦Bani kept reprimanding herself for not disclosing the truthā¦.the car drove into the portico of Walia Mansion and came to a standstillā¦
Bani looked at the entrance it was a mare door before through which Bani went in and out without giving a thought but today it had a different meaning for her, when she announced that she had a lunch appointment with a friend, buaji quickly disapproved but Jai had gave his approval and had called the driver promptly to take her for her appointmentā¦.not heeding to her words that she will take the Taxiā¦.she got down took a deep breath and walked in as a shiver ran through herā¦..
Bani automatically glanced towards his study, the door was slightly ajar, through which she heard Roshni's hearty laughter and Jai's rejoinder, Jai, tumbhi, kitna badmash hoā¦.
Bani tiptoed up the stairs towards her roomā¦.

Today they were late for breakfast, their love making left them exhausted and they overslept, it was Pushkar's call that woke Jai up and hearing his voice, Bani got up, they were both conscious of each other, they touched each other tentatively and silently acknowledged the fact that they are now husband and wife, there was no guilt feeling, a certain shyness but no guilt, until they met Roshni for breakfast, after Bani went to get ready, Jai had left the room. When Bani joined them for breakfast, she found Jai & Roshni in their usual places, with Jai reading the papers and Roshni chatting away. Bani somehow could not look at her face, her voice sounded unusually strained & artificial, Bani caught Jai staring at her from behind the papers. Bani tried to remain calm and was relieved once it was over.
Bani threw her purse and sat down on the bed, tried to understand her feelings, does she still wants this marriage to get over, will she ever love her husband, will their relationship be only physical and now since she has become his wife in true sense what will her equation with Roshni be likeā¦Bani closed her eyes, there were so many questions she did not have answers to but would like to have them as fast as possible.

Next day, Pushkar had afternoon shift, he decided to walk into Bani's restaurant and see how things were going, as he walked in, it was still early, with hardly any customers but he could see a lot of activity going on, preparation for the afternoon, can I meet Bani Dixit please, she is a chef hereā¦
She has not turned up, will send her resignation shortly, yeh bare ghar ki ladkiya god only knows why they work, but she was good, the steward nodded his head knowinglyā¦
I hope nothing is wrong with her bua, but then why will she resignā¦Pushkar called her mobile, it was switched offā¦he looked at his watchā¦he will get late if he doesn't leave now, he has to find out what is the matter.
