Prachi Desai to play the lead in the revived version of Balaji's thriller, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat

Ekta Kapoor is planning to revive Balaji's old show Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat. And the lead will be played by, no prizes for guessing, Prachi Desai. Aired two years ago, weekend thriller Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat was a series that dealt with subjects like murder, lies and betrayal, where relationships were not what they seemed to be. The new Kya Hadsaa… will continue to be a horror show, based on the supernatural. However, this time, it comes with a fresh plot.

Prachi is more than excited about the chance of doing a new show. Says Prachi, "I will play a positive character, and for a change I will play my age, and not a typical bahu. I will begin shooting from next week. I hope I will be able to do justice to my new role. I used to watch Kya Hadsaa… earlier and I do believe in supernatural powers. We will be shooting in and around Mumbai."

So how has she sketched her schedule, now that she has to devote time for two shows?

Prachi says, "Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat will be aired three days a week, whereas Kasamh Se is a daily. So Kya Hadsaa… will require lesser time to shoot compared to Kasamh Se. I don't think there will be a problem."

Prachi will be given a completely new get-up in the show. Now she will be seen wearing skirts and kurtis. Says Suraj Rao, the creative head of the show, "Unlike last time, which dealt with one story in one episode, the revived Kya Hadsaa… will run one story for more than twelve episodes. We have chosen Prachi to play the lead while the rest of the characters are being finalised. She plays a girl who gets into a bad marriage due to some flaw in her horoscope and then the thriller angle seeps into the plot."

Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat will be a half-an-hour show and will go on air in August.

Haila whats happenign with Prachi? Her life seems to be Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat now. 😆 😆 😆

But arent there too many commitments for her?

And I used to watch KHKH earlier, the stories did not finish off in one episode only. Definitely it took a couple of episodes.

Anita was a major player then and now PD. 😉 Seems EK's taking her the AH way too. 😆

Wow i used to watch that show...some stories were good some were bad..the one i really enjoyed...was the one which had Rakshanda Khan as a aatma trying to get the love of her life back...boy was she good in that one. 👏
I think Prachi will be fab... 😊 😊 story sounds interesting! Looking forward to it!

Man I dont understand how she will do it. She has KS, college, n now KHKH. Woman slow down now. Na, it is cool. Good luck in it. Love that show, 😊.

I saw only one Kya HAadsa....it had Rajeev in it, so had to see it...LOL

But best of luck to her, last i heard she had taken admission in a bbay college, may god bless her really!!!

I know right, man. If my mom comes 2 knowww this Mitali is a goner. She will b "Bani is the same age as u, she is in 2 shows n goes 2 college, u just sit here, can even work, look at that girl," alright have her after me cause of my sister.
