Justifying Creatives!

My Golden post is dedicated to the Creatives (turning Goldie talking of them???). Ahhh! let me correct it, not Creatives, it's BT Creatives, specially Kasamh Se Creatives. We bash the Creatives like anything regularly as if it is a human necessity like having food everyday. But that is not all; we even praise them at times when they really do something appreciable, which is like a Blue Moon nowadays!

Now coming to the actual discussion, it is really a stressful job to be a Creative. They work for hours to create story (reasonable or not we will talk about it later), for the daily dosage. Five days a week, if a show is being telecast then definitely it needs all sorts of flavours to hold on its viewers. Even they have to be a little ahead of the time to have shooting of few episodes done in advance in case of emergencies. After all the show must go on!

When a show begins (read Kasamh Se), there lies fresh story, fresh faces & characters and definitely fresh interest. Now with the progress of the actual story, the response of the viewers is being judged. According to that response beneficial changes are being made in the story. There begins the story of changing the storyline… they need TRPs, not story remember! But we can't blame them at that time because the twists and turns in a fresh show are quite welcome and especially if some of them work on the wish of the viewers.

There are certain unexpected events that thrill the viewers but all those things are accepted as a part of the story. But with the making of a strong foundation in the crowd of all shows, Creatives add more spice to the show (read Romance) just at the nick of time. All said and done, months pass with Romancing, flirting, dancing and some heart touching emotions in Love. To show the growth (and sometimes overgrowth) of Love, they put different situations, some of which are acceptable and some are not. But viewers being blindly in Love with the Love, overlook such things which could have been avoided (read Anu's pregnancy when she was unmarried). More drastic situations are then created which seem to be implicit although the reasoning being included somewhere in the story where some third person flies in.. and they reveal everything suspiciously.

Finally it reaches the point of dragging, because any daily soap ends up at feeling and getting Love, which when achieved is then subjected to separation and longing (mostly on unacceptable grounds). Various ways of attraction (read coming closer) and repulsion (read having hatred or misunderstanding) are then point of attention and the main issue in the story. This marks the beginning of disappointment but the Creatives know that they need to make the show survive more. After all it is for us, the viewers who don't want the show to stop, be it a happy ending or sad ending! We end our FFs because they are destined to be a finite story. Even we feel sometimes that we are dragging our FFs for some reason. So can't we consider the case of the Creatives? But this trend is dragged unlimitedly and the formula is used over and over again. New characters (liking or disliking depends on an individual) are then a part of the whole system. After a few months we find that the actual family and people are replaced by new characters and definitely new stories of their own.

But those things are also necessary as they cater the show five days in a week. It is not possible to give what we want to see everyday, it needs time to create. Don't we take time to update our FFs??? But they don't have that much of relief. Thus we get fillers (specially flashbacks of good, bad, memorable, disgusting and never seen times) and thrillers and forced/natural humour. Ultimately the story turns into a life of troubles and more troubles where the supreme trouble is Love itself. Well Love is not the only issue that is of importance, other relations, anti of the couple(s), etc. etc. are also dealt. They are also necessary as seeing cute cute romantic or lovely scenes throughout 30minutes and months after months won't make a good show worth-watching. Every kind of situations, issues and troubles are a definite requirement. But the problem with the Creatives is that they get overboard with what they add new to the show. Social issues which are also highlighted in the story are also dealt in such a way that can have or better to say that has adverse effects on the viewers. Some real-life situations faced by some unfortunates, of which we are totally unaware are also focused but they are also shown rather dragged in such a way that creates a bad impression.

The Creatives might say that this is what is being showed in every other family drama, but wait then what for they are called Creatives??? Only to cover indigestible expired twists in fresh wrappers?? Even if they show some hope or romance they are not up to the mark! Actually they bear a tail of more unhappiness and disappointment. If showing something logical and clean & clear air of love and happiness becomes too hard for them then what moral can we get from the show??? That life is not a bed of roses and it can never be for even a precious moment??

I know we don't think from their point of view (read deadlines) but we can try to and sometimes some of us try too but what we get in return??? They don't get the clear understanding of what the viewers want or what they don't want. I am not talking of the personal choices of the flow of the story but the manner in which the story is presented. They surely need to make it more palatable. After all we are still here, proving a saying "whatever is done in this world is done in some hope".

Okay I have converted this post as a History note (no offence meant to Historians or History lovers). Now I take your leave…. Please leave a comment if you find the issue worth giving a thought so that the target listeners can get a clear message.

Luv

well this 10 days promise (7 days left now) also shows the highs and lows of creativity.

high: something revenge-like track is going on.......
low: height of sacrifice.........

creatives think that sacrifice is a symbol of endless love but does that mean love needs no brain???

Yeah, isn't it sad? We anxiously await something that even EK and NB don't know will / won't happen 😭
