Man A and K are so cute. 🤗i know..!That dinner table scene was too funny 😆 ...both wanting Jai to feed them. Then Jai leaned over Bani to get to Atharv..ahem!! 😳 😳 😆 well i think i kept Jai away for so long.. so...😉😆

The last scene by the fire was sweet...JB eye locking session 😳 going on to be interrupted by A&K again...and they dozed off on her...awwwww...they really like her. they do!! they havent had much woman intereaction so they're takign advantage of the situation!

Bani has been through quite some tough times so can understand the feelings she was experiencing...the presence of these kids are bringing about new feelings for her which i guess she never expected. Nope.. she never would've thought these kids&JW would change her!

Hi guys, thanks for al the lovely comments! i'd never have thought i;d reach Part 10! So this part is dedicated to all my lovely lovely Readers!🤗 Sorry if it's long and boring, but next part will be more interesting.. had to get this bit over with!

Part 10

And Massi? Well she was still busy of thinking ways of getting Jai and Bani closer!

Pushkar was in the kitchen, having breakfast, a few days later deep in thought. In the past few days, Bani had not been interacting much with the Walias. After she had come back from the dinner, she had been acting a bit strange. She was always distracted, deep in thought and recently he found find with a small smile whenever she slept.

I wonder what it is? Ugh.. atleast she seems happy, maybe it's because I'm back! She must have been lonely, living here, it must be nice to have some company. Anyways, I have to now start thinking of getting Bani interacting more with the kids, she is so caught up in finishing her book,' Pushkar felt as if he had hit a dead end. He had been trying hard, he would bring the kids over, ask Bani to play with them. But she always refused and went back into her room to work on the book.

A 'I'VE FNISHED' broke Pushkar's train of thoughts. Pushkar looked with confusion. 'I've finished the book' Bani said matter of factly.

'Oh' And then his face broke in to a grin. 'That's it!!' he thought excitedly.

'Bani..'

'Hmm'

'Let Celebrate!!!'

Bani smiled, 'Sure.. where do you want to go?'

'You know, what, let's have a picnic and go to the zoo!'

'Pushkar? How old are you?'

'26.. why?'

'And you want to the zoo?'

'Yeah, why not? Lets live like children, Come on it'll be fun. Please' and he gave her the puppy dog eyes, which ke knew she would never resist!

'Fine!' she said defeated. 'Let's go.. I'll start preparing for the picnic'

'Ok! And pack lots of food'

'Why?' Bani asked suspiciously

'Oh.. nothing.. just you know we'll be gone for the day and I eat loads!'

'yeah.. that's true! ..You could for an army!' she replied.

Pushkar decceded to ignore that, 'I'll be back, I just need to do something!'

'Ok.. But hurry up, I'm not doing all this by myself'

'yea…yea..' and he bolted out of the door and across the garden to the Walia's. He enetered through the kitchen door which was open and shouted out for Jai. Jai called him to come in to the living room, where he and Massi were sitting with children, watching a movie.

'hey, Jai I need a favour. We're celebrating because Bani just finished her book and we're going to have a picnic and go to the zoo.' At the mention of the zoo, the children's attention shifted from the TV to Pushkar. Pushkar saw this and knew his job would be made easier. 'So,I wanted to take Arthva and Krishna with us?'

'And Bani agreed?' Jai asked unbelieveably.

'Yeah, Sure.' Pushkar didn't think it was important to tell him that she didn't know that they were going to come.

The children looked at their father expectantly. Waiting for him to agree.

Massi smiled, this was better than nothing. 'Actually Pushar beta, We were going to take the children to the zoo ourselves.

'We were?' asked Jai. After a 'look' from Massi, he changed his tone, 'We were, we were'

Pushkar looked a bit dejected, 'oh well…'

'I'm sure none of us mind if we all went togther' interrupted Jai

Better than going alone! Thought Pushkar

'Sure,' he said, 'We'll meet in half an hour!'

That was the quickest half hour of Jai's life! He got the kids dressed and then himself, and then rushed downstairs to help Massi plack for the picnic. Massi was already dressed. She was a bit dubious about going but she knew she didn't to help Jai and after the dinner, she was sure that Pushkar woulnd't let Jai and Bani alone even for a second!

Half and hour later, Bani and Pushkar were standing outside Pushkar car (It's one of those big cars, you know Land Cruisers, SUV types) Bani was loading the picnic basket in the back and then she saw the four Walias coming out of the door all dressed. She was filled with a sense of dread. Nah, they're probably going out somewhere. But instead of them going towards Jai Walia's car, they all made their was towards Pushkars.

Bani glared at Pushkar, who just gave her a little smile and went to greet them. She saw Pushkar talking excitedly to the children who were dressed in shorts, pink for Krishna and black for Arthva with white T-shirts. A pink frilly cap on Krishna's head.

Bani then saw Pushkar helping them in to the car and then saw Jai opening the passenger seat and getting in. He was wearing jeans and a white linen see through shirt, the sleeves rolled up. Smart but casual!

That Pushkar is soooo dead. Wait till I get him on his own, he will never see the inside of a plane EVER again! How can I be so stupid? The Zoo?? I shuld've known. But with JAI WALIA? Bani had tried to avoid the walias since the dinner, Jai's intense gaze always made her fell weird inside whenever she remembered it.

The children sat right at the back, with Bani and Massi sitting in the middle seats and Pushkar driving. Pushkar and Massi had grins on their faces, each of them proud of their progress! Bani looked at Pushkar and he smiled back, he knew she would never say anything in front of them. All I have to do is not to let her talk to me on my own, ever, otherwise I'm so dead! Ahhh well, she'll thank me later!'

The drive seemed to last hours according to Bani, she had the children singing loudly in the background, and whenevr she looked in the front, her gaze would always end looking in the side mirrors where Jai's eyes were on her. She didn't know where to look!!

Jai made her feel something she had only ever read of in romance novels! She didn't want to fell this way! She had always dreamt that her prince charing would come but not with two kids in tow. NOPE Bani thought he's not my Prince Charming! Can't be. It's just that I haven't seen a good looking male in a long time, so that's why. Nothing more, she tried to convince herself. But deep down she knew she was just fighting a battle which she would lose.

Ever since the dinner, she had been watching him from her bedroom window when he was playing with the children, talking to Pushkar, helping Massi with something! He was like the perfect man. Someone who she had dremt of when she was a teenager!

Good looking: Check

Good with children: Check

Kind: Check

Funny: haven't seen that side of him so cant' say!

Oh Gosh!! What am I thinking?? Bani screamed inwardly. Stop, Stop! Ok something else, Oh my next book….'

Soon they had reached the park/zoo. Jai got out first and then opened the door for Bani,

Chivalrous: Check

Bani stop, she warned herself. As she got down she tripped on the little step of the car (You know there's that little stepping thing on 4 wheel drives that thing.. hope you understand what I'm saying) and was about to fall forward when Jai grabbed her waist and steadied her. Bani's hand flew to his shoulders and held on.

'are you ok?'

Bani was unable to speak. His touch was causing havoc in her, clouding her senses. Her body seemed to be on fire, 'Um.. Y..Yea.' she whiepred. She then felt herself being lifted up so that she was level with him, his eyes boring in to her, and then he placed her firmly on the ground. 'Come on… Everybody's waiting' And she followed him to where the others were standing.

Jai tried not to think about what had just happened. There was no place here to take a shower! (hahah.. sorry.. I've always wanted to put that hahah.. anyway..) Her hair smelt so nice and her waist… Jai gave a loud sigh, one step at a time buddy, one step at a time!

'Are you ok?' Pushkar asked, seeing her red face.

'Yea.. just a little hot' Bnai replied distracted. She was still recovering from Jai's touch. His hands on her waist…Oh God.. why me?

The kids at once ran towards the entrance of the zoo with Pushkar following them and urging Bani to come with them. Massi however, wanted Bani to sat with her and Jai. Jai? No way woman.. 'Um.. Ji. Jii massi' She had no choice! What could she say? Sorry I'm going with the kids because your nephew makes me feel weird?

But the kids had different ideas. They ran back to Massi, Bani, and Jai. The kids held on each of Jai's hand and then asked him to come with them. Pushkar was waiting for them at the entrance. Bani saw him band down, whisper something to Arthva and then Arthva ran back to Bani.

'chalo Aunty,' and he held on her hand and dragged her with him. 'Uh.. Arthva, Massi'

'Nahi, Nahi beta, tu ja' And so they went where the rest were standing. They all stood at the counter to but their tickets. Arthva gestured Bani to pick him up, because he wanted to look inside the counter.

Jai knew she still wasn't comfortable so he picked up Arthva and let him look inside. 'Look Papa, elephant, Wow, kitna bada hai!! We will see it na?'

'Of course beta, elephant and lions and giraffes…'

'Mujhe bhi..' Krihsna leifted her arms. As Jai went to put Arthva down, Athve puthis hands around Jai's neck and shook his head. He wasn't getting down! Pushkar looked at Krihsna and then said to Bani ' Tum dikhao na Bnai'

Massi, Jai, Arthva, Krishna all looked at her, 'Um.. Yea..' and she lifted Krishna up.

'So that's one family ticket? And one adult and one senior citizen?' asked the lady at the counter. Bani looked shocked, 'Um.. no family….'

Pushkar intervened, told the lady that was correct and went to but the tickets, after a lot of fighting with Jai about who would pay!

'Kya.. Bani.. paise back rahe hain, aur tum minor details ko leke baithe ho.'

Bani glared at him while Jai laughed. Even his laugh is sexy! Og God.. why are you doing this to me?'

As she put Krishna down, Krishna gave her a kiss on her cheek with a Thank You! Bani smiled, 'You're welcome' And suddenly the world seemed a lot brighter, just with that one kiss!
