Tina Parekh, who plays Shruti in Kahani now feels she has had enough of the same role after three years. She wanted to quit from a long time, and her marriage to Vikram Hazra just made the choice easier. "Work is affecting my personal life a lot. There is hardly any time for other activities," said Tina. She admits that she owes her success mainly to Balaji.

"It has been just three years but the amount of popularity Shruti has given me is amazing. Balaji has been good to me. I have spoken to Ekta and she understands completely. I will leave on an amicable note," she says. With just days left for her last shoot for the serial, Shruti is emotional. But she says, "I'm looking forward to a long holiday with my husband."

After the hugely hyped entry of Gautami Kapoor in Kyunki... as the new Tulsi, Ekta Kapoor is gearing up for yet another dramatic twist in the tale. Gautami's real life hubby Ram Kapoor who plays Jai Walia in Kasam Se will make an entry in Kyunki soon! Ram will essay the role of the doctor who gave Tulsi her new face. The track is that he is a widower who gives Tulsi his wife's face. Now that Mihir hasn't seen the new Tulsi, it would soon turn into a love triangle of sorts. Ram is thrilled to be part of Kyunki.

"It's always an honour to be on a show that has been successfully running for past six years. The role is interesting and they will keep me on as the track develops." Ram is also excited about working with his wife "We last shot for Balaji's Ghar Ek Mandir where we met, fell in love and got married. And now Balaji has given me this great role and to have my husband working with me is like a bonus," says a happy Gautami.
