If this is true then 👏 👏 👏. May be it is the kreatives first baby steps to bring KS back to it former glory. I have not seen Jaya in anything else - as KS is my first Indian serial addiction. But after witnessing the creativity of Ashwini, it was difficult for me personally to see anyone else in that role.

For me, Ashwini is the definitive Jigs that I love to hate. Ashwini created a multifaceted character that I empathized with, disliked, hated and felt sorry for. She like RK and PD who infused life into their characters infused life into her character-Jigs that just simply seeped away when she left the role.

It's sad if Jaya wasn't aware of the change. That is very insensitive on Balaji's part if true, to find out that you are out of a job in such a manner.

However for KS it is a good thing as Jaya's portrayal of Jigs was way too campy, ludicrous and over the top. Jigs became a schizophrenic, shrill laughing Pia worshipping witch.

I think this is the best thing to happen to KS in the longest time ever. 😃

She will fill the position of a true negative character in KS (one is good too), not that it lacks in negativity. But she will had her charisma to things 😆
