See-saw or deep abyss?

So guys,

I was chatting with some one this afternoon and an analogy struck me.

When we look back at the various face off's in KS we notice that at any given point of time someone is at a all time low and the other at a high. Just like a see-saw.

But what I found interesting is the fact that on this KS version of the see-saw, the equation of who is up and who is down does not change realy change overtime. Infact the one on top stays there and the one on the bottom stays there. Such an unfair way to fight, dont you think?

And guess what makes this even worse, the evil (in my POV there was never good in this serial, just bad and badder, so in this case the one who is comparatively more evil) is always up on top. But it did not start this way. Back in the hay days, Bani gave back to Ranveer/Jai as good as she got.

They were playing the game fair, where each character, was getting a fair chance to one up the other.

But something changed down the road. It started with the PR Raaz. It was Jai and Bani at play back then. Jasoosi and Jai's guilt were introduced. The guilty went down and stayed that way until the new track begun.

The roles revered, Bani was butchered and butchered with her Kasam to everyone who knew her raaz (actually the only one in the dark was Jai, funny right?). Jai was lifted up.

This was still okay, coz atleast between the two players, they were fair, each one getting sometime to enjoy the fresh air on the top.

Next track added a third player and now there was a three sided see-saw. Seems hard to imagine right? But what became worse was that now no one but the pure evil was being given the best opportunities. Jai and Bani both were pushed down way too many times.

Now we are on a four was see-saw but its still the same. The more evil (in my POV) is still at the top, using and misuing the ones in the bottom.

Jai with his being all wimpy and ever ready to be blackmailed and Bani with her 1.5 marriages have been pushed down into a deep deep hole. and AD and Pia are enjoying their victory (so far) standing on top of the dirt hill created by the digging process of the holes for JB.

But this is my question now, how strong are these dirt hill? I thought they crumble if shaken enough. Will this happen? Is there any chance for it? Or will this dirt hill sediment and become a permanent mountain, a symbol of the victory of the evil over the less evil?

I am appealing to the creatives, for one show us something that would not disgust us. Give us a sign so that our trust in you is restored the way it was about 10 months ago.

I mean I am not asking for more am I? Afterall this is the same team that gave us the memorable scene where JW talks to his unborn, right?

Rivs,

Excellent POV. Negativity and evil seems to win the day everytime in KS. The good always is shoved down the hole with their circulation cut off so that they cannot breathe. Pia and co have gotten away scott free and shown to have all the brains while the protagonists Jai and Bani are shown to be helpless victims tied to strings of their pupeteers. In the beginning of the show the cat and mouse game was interesting. Sometime Bani won, sometimes, jiggy, sometimes ranveer and sometimes Jai. It was fun as how all of Jiggy and Ranveers plan always failed. Now we get relentless negativity. Jai and Bani are btuchered to prop other characters and glorify them. I think the see saw is still between Jai and Bani, Helpless Jai and Bigamist Bani, while the other team is on top.

As for the dirt hill collapsing, have my doubts with the track record of the current creative team. They seem to want to make the hill stronger and stronger the the abyss deeper and deeper for JW and Bani.

thanks Meg and Sun,

I can understand the need for drama to keep a daily soap running and ofcourse if the main leads are being butchered, there is nothing better to create drama...

But is this really necessary, why can there be a balance of some sort? Why it the new theory that to make a new entrant or even an existing character prominent or accepted, the good needs to die?

I for some reason find this gross. I am all for triangles and stuff like that, but can it be kept to a level where it makes sense to the viewers.

Or does drama mean leaving the viewers with a foul taste in their mouths time and again?

Rivs, great post. I so agree with you…It is always evil winning and good being pushed to the rock bottom.

Like Megs said, in the beginning it was interesting because of cat and mouse game…But now, everything is about evil winning…they win and only they win…and in fact, this is one of the reasons why KS is becoming so stale….

I also want cat-mouse game rather than one person winning and the rest loosing…

Cheers,
Meena

My sentiments exactly rivs...the main characters are butchering to no extend that having a new character does not promise anything different, except for more butchering....

Rivs good post! And I too join in the appeal to beg creatives to show some sense where good can also win sometimes and not the evil being on top everytime! Even though during Divorce fiasco, J&B united, but still that ONS was haunting them and also Bani had lost her kid while saving JW 😕 ! Overall, the lead of the shows never won and it was always evil raising and was glowing all around 😡 ! Creatives needs to concentrate on this and change this crap

rivs there was no need to introduce another star if they cld simply have handled tarun properly

they cld have shown him torn between loyalty to his friend and sympathy for this emotional broke bani which later unknown to him develops into love..but still masking his feelings he supports her as a true friend which makes munna insecure and it wld have made a wonderful triangle ..pawan certainly wld have done justice
what was the need for another 20 yr old raaz and obviously jai walia ...did bani never have a life in 24 yrs that cld be brought to the fore anything atleast her maternal family
now we have 😕 😕 😕

Rivs, I think it is sad and pathetic to see how many negative twists we have been given. Time after time the twists seem to be bringing KS further down. Just when we thought it couldnt get any worse- it does. The problem is it seems like kreatives dont realize that brining some happy times into KS can mean a higher audience retention. Knowing that a problem can be resolved with a positive result is what gives us hope- instead of making our stomachs churn at every corner.

I take SP for example. After each issue is resolved- they have a happy episode where the family is shown together and content with life.. and then they bring on new developing problems. I find nothing wrong with that method.. I just wish KS could implement it!

See the creatives way of giving the positive is 1 full marriage tagged on with the gross of .5 marriage by a woman on the same day with 2 different men.🤢 I hope Ekta does not think this is what commonly happens with middle class women in India on a daily basis and that these are the problems they face.
