Disclaimer: This post is in support of Bani's choice and her journey to the
dark side as Durga, in support of her new Avatar as Durga das Gupta.

Durga's Journey to the Dark Side
The time has come for us now to travel the Dark Side with Durga Das
Gupta, the avenging incarnation of Bani Dixit Walia. She is a willing
participant on this path. Aparajit Deb her rescuer, her messiah gave her
the freedom to chose. Go back home or come with him as Durga Das
Gupta, an identity created by him. She chose Durga Das Gupta. He gives
life to Durga das Gupta.
And one may ask, how was it her choice???? The answer is he did not
force her to accept his proposal to come with him to a foreign land and
don on a new identity. She was given time to chose and Bani did the
smart thing, she chose to accept his offer.
The cruel and brutal betrayal of her husband, her family has finally
scorched her soul alive. Bani Dixit Walia is no more.
The proof her doing her own last rites. The ending of Bani Dixit Walia, no
more a sister bound by the stupid Kasams of her parents, no more the
mother figure to her back stabbing sister Pia, no more trusting her so
called family after marriage who betrayed her trust, no more trusting or
loving her husband who was the reason for her ending up in jail and then
being declared mad to be shifted to a Mental Asylum. And the worst
crime committed against her is the crime of snatching away the children
from her on the day they were born without even drinking their mothers
milk, even in jails etc the mother is allowed to keep her child for a few
days or even months.
Her new Avatar As Durga, the invincible Mother Goddess is a shakti, a
weapon of Walia destruction created by Aparajit Deb, her saviour. He is
her mentor on this path of revenge. As she states in her dialogues in
Friday's episode that she is ready to do many Paaps/ Sins—she is fully
aware of what this journey entails and is ready for it. She is a willing
participant in this game.
Thus the assumption that she is being used by AD, then she is willingly
letting him use her. She is using him too, to get herself ready to destroy
the people who betrayed her, destroyed her completely. In her current
role as Durga, she needs AD's training more than anyone else's.
So what AD and Bani share is a mutual relationship of give and take. He is
getting his revenge against the whole Walia clan and she is his weapon
and she knows it.
He was her savior who saved her from death, or would you all prefer she
died??? He did what Jai Walia her husband could not do—(to protect her)
give her a new identity and get her out of the country, he gave her a
reason to live though the reason is revenge. And she is only alive for that
reason. She needs revenge and that is her every right. Whether we like it
or not she has chosen this path for her survival.
And AD is not wrong in using whatever means to win a war that he has
against Jai, as they say "Everything Fair in Love and War".
This is not the same Bani. We did not expect her to be the same. We are
now traveling with Bani aka Durga das Gupta on the Dark Side.
And Krishna and I for one are with her, in her mission to wreak havoc on
the ones who betrayed her so cruelly. We want her to make complete
mince meat of the three witches Jigs, Karuna and most of all Pia. We want
her to be completely strong without any emotional baggage when she
makes their life a living hell. We want her to be drenched in blood in this
revenge, especially Repto's blood. Hard Core Bloody Revenge. Bani
needs support and we are supporting her in this journey of hers to the
Dark Side….The bottom line is we'd rather have Bani in Revenge Mode
than a Dead Bani. And Another bottom line is hate him or love him, AD is
Bani's rescuer whatever his agenda might be.
**And Jai by drinking away and working away does not make him less
guilty for what part he played in her destruction at all, and Durga as
Parvati even went agaisnt the Devs and her own husband when her son
Ganesh was beheaded.***
A mother can never forgive even her husband for his mistakes or crime
committed against her child/children.

FYI-Kali is the ferocious form of Mother Goddess Durga—it is interesting
to note that AD gave her the identity og Durga not Kali because Kali is
born out of the brow of Durga. As the legend goes Kali was so consumed
with her battle that she got carried away and began destroying everything
in sight. Lord Shiva, her husband, in order to stop her threw himself
under her feet. Shocked at this sight, Kali stuck out her tongue and
stopped the homicidal killing spree. (True Love will Prevail in the end)
