In Ekta's drama anything can happen, so this wont be a suprise at all.
Though I think it has to do with when maybe they AD & JW , were friends as they seem to be of the same age and they new each other 20 yr ago.
Now what this mystery will be I can't wait to find out, but doenot seem it has anything to do with Barnali at all.
