At the Walia mansion, Jai and Pia are seen exchanging varmalas, pandit asks them to stand up for the Pheras, Bani is looking at them with heartbreak and the picture of Jai breaks apart. A group of women from a NGO (non-government organization) come and stop the wedding. A lawyer from the organization comes and says that the women are her to protect women's rights and this wedding is against the law because Jai's wife is a mental patient and that she is still married to him and Jai can't re-marry with Bani still being his wife. Pia steps in and says, I know the law and because Bani is a mental patient, when a wife becomes insane, the marriage ends, thus the marriage of JB is null and void.
The lawyer rebuts and says, that she doesn't know the law very well and that she can only marry Jai after six months of Bani being declared as a mental patient, Pia should apply at the court of law to be married to Jai, and can be married only if the court decrees so.
Bani is seen walking towards a hazardous land mining operation and the police are asking her to stop, she doesn't listen and continues to go forward.
Back at the mansion, Jai is seen with the women from the NGO, they say that the wedding is stopped only at Jai's request and that he has done the right thing. Pia comes from behind and says, Mr.Vollya, I know you would do something like this, that's why I am well prepared, I have a trump card. She shows him some papers declaring her as the guardian of Bani's children. 😕😕😕 (I thought that both parents have to sign papers for some one else to be the guardian, I guess I don't know the Indian Law very well)
Jai looks at her as she shows the adoption papers. A flashback of Pia getting the papers signed by Bani is shown (in the mental asylum) is shown. She basically threatens Bani saying that she should turn over the guardianship to her because she can do bad things to Bani's children. 😡😡She says, Bani should know how stubborn her younger sister (meaning her) is and what she can do to the children now that she will be staying at the WM.
Jai says the papers don't mean anything because Bani was considered mentally ill at the time she signed the papers, Pia in her villainous fashion says that she is smarter than that and that she backdated the papers and they are perfectly valid. Jai tries to argue with her but she comes out with the upper hand and Jai succumbs to the pressure. She tells him that think with his brain and not with his heart. She puts down the country's legal system as being slow and ineffective and that if he tries to fight her, it will turn out that he might at best get joint custody but it will take ages to resolve the issue. She blackmails him into signing a joint custody statement so that she can continue living at the WM as the babies legal guardian. Like a stupid guy, he signs the joint custody papers instead of choosing the legal fight.
Back at the land mine, miners and construction workers stop the police from going after Bani. Bani keeps running amidst the blasts dodging the mines and finally falls down in a circle of fire. The police declare she is dead (Without a body😕😕).
Back at the WM, Jai is holding his chest (bechara) and says, why am I feeling so restless (bechaini) and why do I feel as if some thing is terribly wrong (Yes, Jai - there is!) He keeps saying something strange is happening and drinks a glass of water and starts pacing up and down while one of the twin starts crying.
At the mine, Bani is seen unconscious in the circle of fire.
Back at the mansion, Jai is in front of Goddess (Kali Mata, I think!) and is saying that why is this happening to Bani, he feels that she is in danger. Why is the goddess giving so much hurt and pain to Bani, and that Bani has so much faith in the goddess, so why is she being punished? He gets very emotional and says, if she wants to see him kneeling in front of her, that if she wants Bali (sacrifice), then the goddess should use him instead of Bani. He prays with folded hands and beseeches her to send some one to help Bani, please help her devotee Bani, somehow.
At the mine scene, a helecopter is hovering over the circle of fire where Bani lays unconscious, AD and the pilot are in the chopper. The pilot says to AD that he can't land there because of the mines and can't even go too close because it is dangerous. He says we have very little time (Couldn't hear the dialogues very well at this time because of the background music).
AD says that since the pilot is so scared and the smoke is getting too much he will go down and rescue Bani.
He comes down on a harness from the chopper and carries Bani in his arms, he has a tender(??) look on his face and the pilot pulls AD and Bani up into the air.
At the Walia mansion, police arrive and tell a kneeling Jai that Bani is no more and that they are sorry to tell him that she is dead. Jai is angry and hold the police officer by his collar. The officer tells him that despite their protestations, Bani didn't listen and went in to the mine, by her own volition.
Jai shakes the police officer like a dog and says "shut up, where is my wife?" Every one is in shock while Jai runs out to the mine, every body (Adi, mostly) is telling him to stop going inside. Jai is crying and says, "Bani, I did this all for you, I declared you insane because I wanted to save you from being prosecuted for murder". He says "I can live in separation, but I can't live knowing that you are dead. Please don't go so far away, where are you damn it?" (Good acting by RK)
The twins are seen crying in Maasi's arms while Jai breaks down crying!😭😭😭
Bani wakes up in AD's house to the background of the twin's crying! She is confused and keeps looking, they show AD walking around in his ultra suave tan color leather shoes, I like his dressing style, blue jeans, a black Vee neck t-shirt with a tan suede jacket, he has got a couple of days stubble with spiked short hair. He has crooked teeth, large hands (Sorry, I don't know this guy very well, so I am trying to notice everything 😆😆😆, I am not in his camp, just a JB despo!)
He sits in front of a flat paneled TV with his feet and plays video games with a play gun and spreads his hands and starts talking some pretty corny dialogues!! 😆😆
He says that dying is not that easy, people want to die, too many people want to break down but very few people who actually save. He declares, "Andekha, Anokha, Anjana, Adbhut Aparajit Dev" is the one who saved her.
In a monologue, he says, he is used to saving weak, drowning, helpless companies from going down, so how could he not save her because she is like those drowning companies (IS he is doing a merger and aquisition with Bani?)
Bani asks who is he? He replies the same, "Andekha, Anjana, Adbhut (Unseen, unknown, wonderful) AD". He says there is some luggage over there, clothes and other necessary things, she can go to her house, but if she chooses not to go to her house, then there is one more road for her to take.
Bani asks "Another road? Doosra Raasta?"
At the WM, Jai is again seen in front of the Goddess Mata. He says, I have only one road, I don't want to live the life, but I have to bear this life. He says that I will live for Bani's children (wealth - Bani's amanat) because I have take care of them because they are her last nishani".
He says that he is living corpse, and he will go back to the stone hearted Jai Walia before he got married to Bani, there is no Jai Walia who was married to Bani and the man who he is here now means nothing to him.
AD says that the second path for Bani is to come with him to UK, but tells her not to worry and that he is a family man, and that he lives with them. He tells her according to the Indian law she should stay dead for the next five years, and after the five years she will be officially declared dead. After that he will give her a new life. He turns back dramatically and says with an open fist, fingers spread, he says that the five fingers mean passion, power and possession and many other things, but when they are all together, they form a fist (mutthi) and in that fist, everything will be there. That power will be hers if she wants it.
Bani keeps reminiscing about JW in burkha, his statement in the court along with Maasi, Karun and Pia and Pia's statement that Jai is insane in her love (Pia's).
AD gives her passport and ticket and leaves her to make her own decision. Bani is wavering while some shlokas are being chanted.
AD is seen in the car with chauffeur going to the Airport, Mr.Khan the driver says, "will Bani walia go with you to UK?"
AD says, "To change seasons, it takes time, Bani needs time to adjust, to forget the bygone past and adjust to the coming future".
Bani is again reminiscing the Karva Chauth night, the june 19th night and the burkha and the court scenes.
AD is saying something in the car, (I couln't hear him very well), something like "I understand that the depths in Bani are becoming farther and her history is also becoming farther and yes, the soul is dead"
Bani is seen performing Shradh at the cemetary and walking resolutely. Jai is also seen walking towards the pandit asking him to perform last rites. He tells the pandit that his soul is separated from his body and he is conducting the rites for his soul. They are both performing antim sanskar to their live bodies/souls (I guess the pandits complied!) beautiful hymns are being chanted in the background.
The entourage is saying to AD, that there are only a few minutes left before the flight leaves, and would Bani come?
AD is lounging nonchalantly and says, "MR.Khan, life is a connection of moments, not of minutes! Life is made in moments, not in minutes. For both Life and birth, one moment is enough, even decades and eons are made in moments"
Jai and Bani are seen passing each other at the cemetary, not noticing one another, symbolism, I suppose!
Episode ends as AD says, "one of those moments will come for Bani and Jai walia and Aparajit Dev - wait, that moment will come!"
