hey hi all
i know i am almost lost from the face of IF these days. but i am so so depressed with the idea of the way story is moving, i tried detaching myself from Kasam se...now when i have managed not to see my Cuddu for a week or so, i am still depressed none the less.
so here is my attempt to make kekta read what we all feel about her moral and logical bankruptsy.
here is my article for mid day mumbai which i sent just now... need your feedback guys.....
hey hi Kekta Kapoor.
Few months back, i remember i was as usual surfing through TV channels when i stumbled upon ZEE TV..a channel i never bothered to watch before, thanks to boring serials that it dished out.(though i am not really a STAR person!!!!)
Kasamh Se..a tale of three sisters was just looming on the horizon of ZEE with three new bright faces and one established TV star Ram Kapoor.
Reasons why i started watching this serial and writing its online updates for a Forum site for all NRI lot are as follows.
1. though it was a Kekta Kapoor stable product, there was no mention of Saas Bahu aur Saheli Sautan etc...though i thought this one would turn out mill of run after few months, i was pleasantly surprised when that didnt happen.
2. Ram Kapoor. I loved him in GEM and Dhadkan. He is one Handsome and Capable actor.when i saw him portraying mighty Jai Walia, i knew no one and i mean no one can do it better than this man. The passion and fervour of Jai Walia were so lively emoted by this brilliant actor , that i found my eyes moist all the time when "aadat" used to be played indicating his grief....
3.New comer Prachi Desai seemed promising and later on with every brilliant performance she proved her worth.
4. Show started as Trials and Tribulations of three sisters but very soon it was transformed into Jai Bani story, much to audience's liking. We all lost our hearts to this pair, forgetting hundreds of bloopers happening in the serial on daily basis. Their consummation episode uplinked on 19th june became the most awaited event on TV. We all could feel goosbumps all over when Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaye played in background when the "most mismatched couple" sought love and solace in each other's arms.
and when i was on the verge of changing my opinions about Miss. kekta kapoor and her so called creative team, i was once again hurled into the same dirty family politics where there is no need of external foes to ruin the protogonist's life, where women played Bond 007 to resolve their family matters, keeping their hubbies in dark about it. <>
loads of bloopers followed with Jai Bani separation when the most hated event Jai Pia ONS took place. We penned down petitions after petitions to stop the torture, to stop assasinating wonderful characters like Jai and Bani. but i guess Miss KK is so much engrossed in patting her own back that she no more provides any attention to what audience wants.
We still stuck to the show, thanks to wonderful performances by RK and PD and others.
this is an open letter to kekta to stop butchering a marvelous serial like Kasam Se. i must say she is wasting good talents like RK and PD. We Want To See Jai and Bani together.
for all of us... Kasam se equals to JB. No cross marriages like Bani-and Certified Psycho Tarun or Jai and Pia-The Reptile should happen.that would prove to be last nail on kasam se's coffin.
We want to see some sense and logic in the serial. i know these two words are not spoken in kekta-land, but out of our love for the serial and its characters, we all plead kekta.Enough is Enough......Kasamh se.....
following are few questions which i would love kekta to answer for me and my fellow kasam se-addicts.
1..for how many months Pia was pregnant?
she was declared pregnant three months earlier to Rano, who then delivered her baby in 7th month (that i suppose) so that itself makes Pia's pregnancy 10 months after which there was a small leap of few months and i still could see Pia pregnant. is this character an alien from Neptune where Pregnancy period extends to 14 months or above???
2..How come not a single lady shows any bump till they reach Labor room?? what is the raaj behind these 'no show' pregnancies. if Kekta Kapoor has formaulated some solution for this, i am sure many women would feel obliged to know how to have a child with no bump at all???
3..do you know a word "continuity". when miss kekta kapoor resort to use body doubles, she could atleast keep the cloths and color same for the close ups of real actors and their body doubles??? <>
4..Which Hotel chain in Dubai allow to use CCTV cameras in their suites so that a not-so-edited CD of lovemaking can be shot and then circulated as if its Unix Cd where one of the performers in the above mentioned scene was too drunk to know what was happening???
5..What exactly is your idea of DNA testing and Partial Amnesia???
well this list is never ending...i would stop here.
if kekta does oblige me with answers to these, i would come with many next time.
