Disclaimer: Let it be explicitly clear that I am talking about the characters of Jai and Bani and not Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai.
Todays episode was simply wonderful for us JB Despos! Just looking at the interaction and the tenderness between Buddha and Amma was fabulous. Just showing his concern in the car, and the fact that he even stops the car because its worrying him that Amma is shedding tears has him nervous! And poor Amma looks totally heartbroken that her one and only Buddha is leaving her. Maybe its the pregnancy hormones kicking in!
The way Buddha takes her out and apologizes profusely and nearly pleads for her to stop crying is so caring! He knows that with tears in her eyes he wont be able to leave. She sadly , and he cant figure out why she doesn't want him to go.. until..ultimate JB moment arrives.
"Mr. Walia.. I love you.."
The look on Buddha's face was classic. Like the words that he had been wanting to hear for so long. It hit him like a ton of bricks (in a good way of course), and a small smile forms on his lips. He of course returns the sentiments in the sweetest way possible, coupled with a few famous eye twitches..
"I love you, too, Bani.. Bahut pyar karta hoon tumse. Apne aap se bhi zyada pyar karta hoon tumse…" And with a huge grin pulls her into a hug that seems unbreakable. The way he spoke was as if Amma took his breath away. He barely gasped it out but his expression was telling. You could see the tears of happiness in his eyes, and even her eyes had a bit of happiness, coupled with the pain of him leaving her, and for once her tears didn't look glycerine induced.
He pulls her into the most warm and meaningful hug in their lives. She looks as if she is right where she belongs, and he has his eyes shut so tightly, as if he still can not believe what he has just heard. He hugs her so tight that its like he is afraid that they will lose each other once again. The pain is evident between the two, and it almost seems like he doesn't want to leave to go to London after hearing her words.
After breaking their heartwarming embrace, she asks him about her gift, and he looks at with no clue of what she is asking, until she mentions the book. He almost looks like its unbelievable that she found it, and she reassures him understandingly. And when she tells him that she has kept his gift safely, all doubts are cleared as he realizes that what had happened before did not matter. She would always put him first no matter what.
The way he reassured her that it is with her memories that he will be able to stay away seemed so sincere, almost like he wanted to reassure himself that he can survive without her. He uses such a soft tone with her and studies her carefully.
Then he takes her to the nearby Mandir and very reminiscent to the ice cream guy, wakes him up and nearly forces him to get them married. Amma has a surprised but happy look on her face, and Buddha explains that he wants to marry her, because he couldn't before, and he explains to her while they are both deep into each others eyes. She seems unable to comprehend her happiness as he says that they will never separate from them on. She has tears of happiness that form in her eyes, as Buddha intensely looks at her and with all his might promises her that they will be together.

This was possible one of the most romantic interactions between the two. It was so significant in many ways, and it proved that they love each other through the trials of their relationship. They only have eyes for one another, and with the amount of love and tenderness that filled in todays episode, it proved that Buddha and Amma can only be with one another.
It's the episode that makes the wait worthwhile for us despos.
Loved what you said and couldn't agree more....Of course like you said this is in reference to JN and NOT in RK and PD!!!
