Could some one plz. as who is this Karuna, & why did she support Mr. Walia, plzzzzzzzzzzzz????????????????

Well.. she is Mausi's daughter and mother to Laxmi (the punjabi girl)

She supports Jai cuz she knws that he was drugged the night Pia took advantage of him, so she knws the trust..

later as teh story progresses.. Karuna plucks the courage to tell everyone wat happened between Jai and Pia the fact the Pia drugged jai etc..
